We have stayed here before and it was certainly better 5 years ago. It is now very minimalist.The bed was horrible. It was worn out and uncomfortable. We had to put the duvet under us to try and soften the blow. Then we didn't have a blanket to put over us. Ok, we could have asked but we shouldn't have to. The cooking element had two burners but it was so small that you could only put one pot on it at once. They only supplied a frypan and one pot. The furniture was awful. A basic table that was meant to be a desk. Old style square thick timber. The shower rose was small and very low. They are also ”cheap” nopt having pay way giving some lame excuse of people's limits on their cards. Basicslly, they didn't want to pay the fee. Overall, it was clean but very ordinary and we won't be staying there again.

Cannot recommend this place more highly. The cleanliness was so noticeable as one walked into the unit. There was a problem with the wifi that the proprietress immediately dealt with. I also left my electric toothbrush behind by mistake, Jodie made sure it was sent back to me and although I asked twice for the cost of returning so that I might reimburse she just ignored me and returned it to me.

Awesome to finally have a decent hotel in Lower Hutt. The rooms are beautifully furnished but the couch is not very comfortable. The biggest disappointment how we was the service. Ltd English at reception. Dining room shut early on two occasion. Car parking over subscribed despite us paying in advance for it. The chair in our room was broken. I called at night to advise them and was told to come down in the morning and tell reception them when the maintenance man was on site. I asked if they could leave a message over night for him and was told no - best if I manage it myself. The gym that comes with it is also 500 metres walk away rather than being able to use the gym right next door.

We stayed in the back of the campground not out of choice just where we were placed in a large campervan in what seems like the area given the old amenities block when we were forced to used the other amenities block up the front out of necessity . When the park was no near full. The showers in this area have antiquated taps that look like flick mixers but actually aren't and are impossible to regulate and heating present but not working and the cubicles are half the size of the other facilities and push button lights at $60 a night this is ridiculous. Do better top 10 you rate yourself as the best we do not recommend this particular park

Great customer service, the rooms were well designed and a good size. They had all the modern features you’d need and like for a trip. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Main reason for the review is the customer service, I’ve stayed at quest hotels whilst traveling a fair amount. Hands down one of the best by far. The staff went out of there way to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. Would recommend 5 stars.
