HOTEL STAFF were very excellent and courteous. Always helped with any problem encountered. Management and ownership were very professional and acted like they cared about your stay. Concerning the hotel accommodations and Staff interaction I would rate this hotel an EXCELLENT. However, my reason for selecting a 3//5 rating is THE FAULT OF WINDHAM HOTEL CORPERATE for the low score. I would rate them a 1/5. Here's why: 1. They don't seem to care about any customer that books through a non Windham agency. No rewards given at all. (We did stay in their facility didn't we???? Only if booked though them will you get any ”points”. At least give ”some points or rewards”. 2. Their policy on no accepting a virtual card for payment per their ”Out of Country Reservation System” (Real AMERICAN Supporting Corporation, HA!). Most people use virtual cards for safety and security. 3. The facility does not have a ”NO BACKING IN” Policy for parking. That leaves them liable if some one succumbs to Exhaust fumes from vehicles that are parked in backwards with the tail pipe very close proximity of the A/C unites in each room. We were in our room for over 2 hours to take a nap, and when we got ready to leave we had extreme headaches and felt very light headed and woozy. We realized that a vehicle had been backed into the space in front of our room while the engine ran the whole time we were in the room sleeping. The A/C had ****** in exhaust the whole time we had napped. VERY DANGEROUS. When advised the owner HE immediately told us that he would initiate a strict policy against backed in Parking. In talking with some of the staff during the more than sufficient breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, huge waffles, and very delicious breakfast sausage, along with what is often standard for Economy Lodging of other companies of cold breakfast cereal and toast, rolls and perhaps some fruit and yogurt. Nothing too fancy but just what a traveler wants to start the day. Several indicated after we thanked them for the great breakfast that WYNDHAM was indicating that ”breakfast was being phased OUT???? !!!!!. That is probably the one thing that is a determiner of whether to stay or not. NO Breakfast!! NO STAY! I realize that it is probable to say that most of the WYNDHAM Hierarchy has NOT ever stayed overnight in the Days Inn Facilities across the country. I'm sure they stay in the HIGH CLASS hotels instead who have excellent breakfasts usually. Eliminate a good breakfast and eliminate a great many of your patrons. You will for sure get a big -1 rating for that. 4. There is NO place to hang your clothes while staying there overnight or for an extended few days. One likes to be able to hang up the clothes and relax instead of living out of the suitcase. No closet in the room. Only a colored board on the wall with two extremely large L shaped hooks that will not let a shirt even be hung without falling down. Hangers if you have them will not fit on them either. When asked about why the staff personnel simply stated that WYNDHAM removed the closets and replaced them with the ”two useless deformed hooks” (that's last part is my rendition” not what they really said.) When asked why, they said they have no answer simply lots of complaints about it. MY PLEA is: ”WAKE UP WYNDHAM” and stop being like so many corporations are who seem to only care about the ”ALMIGHTY DOLLAR” instead of being there to REALLY serve the public who may not be so wealthy and for whom the ”Economy Hotels” were made for. They still need to be comfortable and usable. l

Alles ging gut, bis ich während der Abendschiffe mit einem der Hotelrezeptoren umgegangen war. Als ich einen Ersatzraumschlüssel gebeten hatte, weil ich versehentlich meine in meinem Zimmer verlassen hatte, war sie brutal, abschiedslos und unprofessionell. Ich versuchte zuerst einen neuen Schlüssel mit dem Selbstbedienungskiosk zu bekommen, aber es funktionierte nicht. Ich bat um ihre Hilfe, und sie reagierte stolz von Anfang an. Sie ging weg, sie war sichtbar irritiert und ging zurück zum Empfangsbüro. Ich habe sie gefolgt und alle notwendigen Informationen, einschließlich einer Kopie meines Passes und meiner Buchung, die unter meinem Namen war, gegeben. Trotz aller Informationen setzte sie mich immer wieder die gleichen Fragen, die ich bereits mehrmals beantwortet hatte, und sagte mir wiederholt in einem abrupten Ton, dass sie meine Reservierung nicht finden konnte. Ihre Haltung war völlig unprofessionell und extrem unvertraut. Diese Erfahrung hat meinen Eindruck vom Hotel völlig verändert. Der Kundenservice ist meine oberste Priorität, und leider hat dieses Hotel nicht einmal ein grundlegendes Maß an Hüterin und Professionalität angeboten. Aus diesem Grund würde ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Ausstattung: Ziemlich gut, recht neu, aber etwas ungewöhnlich ist, dass es in einem Suitenhotel keinen Herd, sondern nur eine Mikrowelle gibt. Man kann also nur mit der Mikrowelle kochen. Sauberkeit: Sehr sauber. Umgebung: Schöne Umgebung, aber da sich in der Nähe Baustellen befinden, ist es morgens etwas laut. Service: Das Frühstück hier ist besser als im Hampton, was mir sehr gut gefällt.

Die Lobby war voller Gäste über 3 Stunden, versuchte, mit nur 1 auf dem Frontdesk zu Check-in, schien, als hätten einige Gäste Online-Reservierungen gebucht und es war nach 1 Stunde nicht im System. Danke, hatte ich Zimmerschlüssel, aber der Zimmerkartenleser funktionierte nicht. Dann entdeckte es, dass es für Zimmer neben der Tür funktionierte. Nach der Erläuterung an das Frontdesk, hatte ich ein völlig anderes Zimmer. Die AC scheint nicht groß zu arbeiten, aber war genug, um zu schlafen. Das Frühstück war sehr schwach Kaffee und ein Paket von Frühstücksküchen. Ist das, was sie heute als Contenital nennen? Das Hotel ist von Krank Hospitality betrieben. Sicherlich laufen sie mehr, hoffentlich werden sie das Frühstück verbessern.

Sehr gutes Aufenthaltserlebnis, geeignet für Geschäftsreisende, in der Lage im Zentrum von Dallas. Empfehlenswert!

Check-in was a breeze and Veronica at the front desk was very pleasant. Once in the room, because I cleaned up water spilt on the floor, I found the white toilet paper turned absolutely black AND with ***** hairs on it to boot. All this within 1sq ft. I called the lobby and asked how often the floors were mopped. I was told “every day.” I related what I had found to the contrary and was asked if I wished to change rooms to which I said “yes!”. When I went down to retrieve the new key, I took the wadded toilet paper with me and she took a picture of it before throwing it in the garbage! There were two very large, well lit, vending machines in a hallway off the main lobby, and the ice machine was in good working order and the ice, clean and solidly frozen.  I decided I was too tired to check and see if the new rooms’ floor was dirty or not so I proceeded to not ever walk on the floor with my bare feet. The day manager, Mari, was very nice and the coffee was hot fresh out of the thermos on the side table…hot water and tea bags also available. If you detest “sweet ‘n low” bring your own natural sugar. I ran into the head of housekeeping and happened to mention how disgustingly dirty the floors were in my first room, and I informed her that the night manager had taken a picture of what I had wiped up on my piece of toilet paper and she said she would go and ask to see it. I later learned that Mayra had indeed done so. So that was good attention to detail. Everything in the room worked fine including the remote and TV, the microwave was spotless and looked brand new and it even had a childproof lock on it for those families traveling with curious offspring that haven’t internalized the meaning of “NO” yet 😵💫. The refrigerator was spotless and new looking as well. WiFi was strong and reliable. I walked by the pool, which I noticed was closed (understandable for this time of year!). It was full of water, but I must say that it looked the equivalent of a Louisiana swamp and I was prepared to see a ‘gator come climbing up those darkened, slimy stairs at any point in time.😆 The parking lot at night is VERY well lit around the entire property which is a very welcome sight! Being right off the interstate doesn’t provide for any exciting venues to walk to but there IS a wonderful grocery store (HEB) .7miles away straight down Rundeburg on Lamar/Rundeburg. Other than that there are a plethora of food trucks doling out South American ‘cuisine’ just yards from the front of the hotel as well as across the street. I didn’t try any of them so cannot opine. I hope this was worth the read, if indeed you got this far! Cheers!🥂

Much better than the last time and I am absolutely grateful that we could work things out and the staff was amazing and the communication has definitely gotten so much better and what a blessing may all are so from my last review till now please exclude that I was disrespectful I wasn’t understanding And they have things going on that they had no control over and I should have been a better person which I was not absolutely amazing staff blessed by God and a heart of gold and I’m thankful that they took my apology for my rudeness of the last review. It was an all God trip this time and that’s the only way I can say it is Love God first and the things that we do wrong he’ll help correct even if we’re stubborn old mules, and I’m just thankful that they forgave me and what a blessed visit it was I’m cleaning this was 100%. They went above and beyond on all levels and just so much more so don’t question when you stay here I never will again they are very forgiving people even when we make mistakes and get misconstrued and I’m grateful for that, I thank God for this visit again and the ability to have a safe place to stay and very caring and loving people All ages  and hearts of gold so the one thing I can say I’ve learned all this before we use our sharp tongues and source to tear somebody down or tear a place down. Remember our wrongs cause no one is perfect even if we have to eat the crow at least do it with learning and understanding that the next time that could actually hurt a business and take away from them and that’s not right beyond lovely people people of God I’m grateful for everything and anything and I can’t say in detail, but I just can’t say enough that treat him like gold. They deserve it. Don’t treat him like crap. We’re all human. Please remember that God gave us a chance to love and cheer people up. Remember, they have good days and bad days too like we do. They deserve respect, honor, and being treated like class not beneath our feet, and these people are way above and honorable and classy, and I’m thankful for them! y’all have a blessed day just remember who you tear down you may not get a second chance to fix it hope and pray that God will let you fix it his way not our way.
