This place went above and beyond for my family when we stayed at El Nido - The Funny Lion (June 26 - July 3). The staff are very friendly and professional. Their Customer service is 10/10. When you ask for something, they give it right away. The Manager was really kind and helpful especially to my 2 yr old daughter, Valerie. I am thankful and grateful for the team at El Nido - The Funny Lion. There are a few suggestions for improvements I would like to add: Better drainage system for shower. It always seems like the water would go out of the shower especially when it’s raining outside. Also, an elevator would be great for the guest and especially for the staff when carrying heavy luggages. The wifi spotty and could also be improved especially inside the breakfast area. A better mosquito control on the outside near the pool/restaurant area would be nice too. The people on the backyard would burn their trashes and the smoke would fill the whole air of the hotel area and would not be healthy to breathe in (I wish they wouldn’t burn right next to the hotel). This is probably nitpicking but sometimes the music that plays at the bar/restaurant area is not family friendly and uses profanity. The rooms could use a bit of feng shui or something to make it feel more spacious. The room lighting could also be improved (it always seems a little dark even with all the lights turned on).

Fantastische Lage mit einem atemberaubenden Strand! Die Beach Casita bot viel Privatsphäre und wir liebten es, den kleinen Pfad entlang zum Strand zu laufen. Insgesamt war es ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. Allerdings waren die Buchungsprobleme mit dem Privatflug ziemlich frustrierend. Ich hoffe, das kann in Zukunft verbessert werden.

The best facility you could have in El Nido - budget or premium. Everything is so well planned and designed. There is not a single point you could complain about. Let’s go one by one 1. Location - right in heart of El nido township. 450 meter or 6 minutes walk to El nido beach where tours begin 2. Pricing - facility provides best available features but pricing is very economical. I was born an Indian. I understand the value for money, this place is what best describes it 3. Staff - they are very courteous and welcoming. 4. Cleanliness - this facility started in 2024 I think. Everything is new and so well maintained Sheets are super clean , so are washrooms and all other places 5. Comes my favourite part - facilities and layout - this hotel has everything you would need. Now if you expect Casinos or shopping malls within a hotel - please don’t come to El nido , you are better off in a tier 1 city anywhere in the world. This hotel provides free breakfast. I booked @ 22.5 CAD a night. If you book early , you could get a dorm for 15 CAD or 11 USD or whatever currency you use - please convert. I could not get it for my first night as only female dorm was available by the time I booked. I booked my first night at One hostel. One hostel is ok, price is super cheap @ 500 php for a mixed dorm but is no where compared to Spin. What Spin offers - free breakfast, there is a free laundry, washing machines - do your laundry here , just get your own detergent , swimming pool - beautiful layout of hotel , a in-house full sized bar with staff - don’t need to go out for a drink at all, one complimentary mock tail voucher upon your arrival ( I got it when I arrived , rules may change with times ) , there is in-house ATM by the bar ( this is the most importantly feature - I have a night limit credit card and I don’t feel comfortable using it in unknown places especially in Asia and compromising it. You are secure to use a ATM which is in your hotel ), there is a designer space for hanging out just besides reception, a beautiful and spacious cafeteria. You can book your tours , hire a bike and book your return to Puerto Princesa from reception. They just note down you name and you pay directly to their partner. The rates are standard and fixed rates of market. They have game nights like beer pong when I arrived, check the short video. The layout of this place is so so good that I wish I could stay here yearlong. Everything is where it should be - it’s indeed a designer hotel. There is a faucet outside hotel to wash your feet - they do get sandy when you arrive from beach- everyone in El nido is a bag packer and wears sleepers when going out. The dorms are so spacious. The lockers are so big for every bunk bed , there is curtain for your bunk bed - full 360 degree of privacy , shared washrooms are big and toilet and shower areas are completely different - you will feel so clean during and after taking a bath as there is no possibility of a urea smell. The sockets in your bunk are so ideally positioned, big mirrors available in washroom and your own room. What it doesn’t have - only a shuttle to the moon I believe Now I did mention I had to book one hostel for my first night of stay. But I visited SPIN upon my arrival , checked out the facility and asked them to book me a tour as I would transfer here next day anyway. When I arrived here early at 7.30 am next morning, the receptionist gave me free breakfast. ( due to be noted that I had not stayed here the last night and that this was way out of the way for early checkin) 10 out of 5 stars for giving me the unexpected and unimaginable at such a great price. I have an option to go for Coron on last day of my stay but I will rather stay here not to loose my one night stay opportunity. Coron can wait , I won’t waste my SPIN night

Dieser Servicepunkt wird von der Küche abgezogen. Nachdem ich das Abendessen bestellt hatte, wartete ich fast eine Stunde, bevor die Vorspeisen serviert wurden. Aber auch andere normale Dienstleistungen können direkt vom Hotel gebucht werden. Bei Bedarf wird dieser schnellstmöglich gelöst. Am Abend zuvor hieß es, es gäbe ein Signalproblem auf der gesamten Insel und sie würden repariert. Nach Abschluss der Reparaturen stellte sich heraus, dass nur unser Gebäude Probleme mit dem WLAN hatte Lobby zum Verbinden. Das Zimmer ist recht geräumig und sauber, es hat Meerblick, aber der Strand darunter sieht aus wie eine Baustelle und ist nicht sehr schön. Die Lobby und der Pool sind recht komfortabel, aber auch das Essen am Pool ist recht langsam. Auch das Frühstück ist recht gut und abwechslungsreich. Ich empfehle keine Spa-Massage. Die Kombination, die wir gemacht haben, fühlte sich an, als gäbe es keine Massage.

Excellent Location. Cheap yet provides us a good service. Free breakfast and nice room. Clean and well air-conditioned.

Costa Palawan ist eine große Anlage und befindet sich ca 3 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Vor dem Hotel warten stets tricycles auf Passagiere. Der Besitzer ist Chinese und daher gab es während meines Aufenthalts auch einen Drachentanz zu Chinesisch Neujahr. Ich hatte ein Zimmer der mittleren Kategorie, dennoch waren Fahrrad- und Kajakausleihe inklusive. Daneben auch Transfers vom und zum Flughafen zurück. Frühstück hatte ich auch gebucht und das Buffet war gut und ausgewogen. Neben dem Strand bietet das Hotel zwei Pools, ein Fitnessstudio sowie ein Restaurant und Massagen direkt am Beach an. Auch je Pool eine Bar. Vor dem Hotel, an der Straße nach PP, befinden sich diverse Shops und Ausflüge in die Hauptstadt (Strandpromenade) rentieren sich sowieso.

Naher zur Hauptstadt. Wanderweite bis zu den wir schnelle Lebensmittelkette kennen. Zimmergröße war gut für zwei Personen. Wir freuen uns, das Hotel während unserer nächsten Reise nach San Jose zu besuchen. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Location is not as it seems. Every time we have to go to the white beach or other areas, it cost a lot on those tricycle rides. I mean a lot it adds up to more than 2k going here and there in just 3 days. The hotel itself is great, spacious and clean. Service can improve a bit, not attentive at times. The food must improve a lot, butter chicken is not butter chicken, more like turmeric ginger chicken. I expected authentic Indian if the owner is Singaporean Indian. The worst part is the stairs to climb to the hotel after a long day of exploring. Hotel does not allow consumption of outside meals, which is a very restricting policy, forcing you to only buy in house meals, in which so much of it is out of stock and has very limited time frame to order. Book this if you have money to throw here and there, and if you have your own transportation.

Booked a room and stated that we will arrive in roughly 20 minutes. Once we arrived the hotel then started to prepare a room for us which meant a little waiting of roughly 20 minutes. Room itself is nice ans comfy. The room also had little balcony. As poor design of the doors there was a whistling noise from the wind at all times when the left balcony door was completely shut. No hairdryer in the room. Pizza at dinner was one from the freezer and before i ordered it i double checked with the waiter if the pizza is made inhouse - which he stated. Rice dish was plenty and really good. Staff at the breakfast didn’t care at all about our orders. We had to order everything we ordered at least two or three times. Please have another look also trough some reviews which are already on Google. It seems that we - as caucasians - were not the preferred type of customer. Conclusion; it’s a nice place but we wouldn‘t come back as we absolutely didn’t feel any welcomed as per the uninterested staff.

Dieses Hotel liegt in einer Gasse. Alle örtlichen Tuk-Tuks kennen dieses Hotel. Die Fahrt mit dem Tuk-Tuk in die Stadt oder zum Hafen kostet 100 Pence, aber Sie können vor der Haustür des Hotels für 500 P 24 ein Motorrad mieten Stunden am Tag. Wir haben in einem Motorradladen in der Stadt für etwa 700 Pence danach gefragt. Einige Leute am Straßenrand in der Stadt mieten es für etwa 500 Pence. Es ist sehr praktisch, es vor dem Laden zu mieten. Das ist es Toll, das Auto zurückzugeben und zu mieten. Es gibt einen Waschsalon bergauf vom Hotel, der nicht teuer ist. Man kann ihn am nächsten Tag bekommen. Mit dem Motorrad braucht man nur 10 Minuten in die Stadt. Es ist ein guter Ort dafür Entfliehen Sie dem Trubel. Von 15 bis 17 Uhr gibt es am Pool im 7. Stock kostenlos Mango-Eis und Popcorn. Wenn Sie nachts in der Stadt sind, kommen Sie nach dem Einkaufen in der Gegend an köstlichen Braten vorbei Hühnchen (150 P für die Hälfte/300 P für das Ganze) und gebratener Schweinebauch (200 P, glaube ich, nicht sicher) auf der rechten Straßenseite. Unterwegs kommen Sie auch an vielen Souvenirläden und vielen lokalen kleinen Läden vorbei. Geschäfte (Friseurläden, Märkte, Schulen, Imbissstände), auf der rechten Seite vom Hotel in die Stadt gibt es einen örtlichen Grillstand, der ist supergünstig!!! Es wird mit Holzkohle gegrillt, und ich habe 1 Hähnchenspieß gekauft Haut + 2 Spieße mit gegrilltem Schweinebauch für nur 30 P, derjenige, bei dem man den riesigen Rauch sieht, ist‧ Es gibt ein Kinderballbecken im Hotel, das toll und sehr sauber ist. Das Frühstück im ersten Stock ist nur ein Pop-up. Das Schwimmbad im obersten Stockwerk ist wirklich toll und großartig, aber das Essen ist wirklich mittelmäßig, vor allem Der gegrillte Schweinebauch ist sehr hart und nicht lecker. Die Hühnernudelsuppe war nicht sehr lecker und es gab kleine Käfer... Nachdem ich die Kommentare gelesen hatte, sah ich, dass viele Leute sagten, das Zimmer sei schimmelig. Nachdem ich tatsächlich dort übernachtet hatte, hatte ich das Gefühl, dass es wirklich feucht war. Außerdem hatte das Zimmer, das ich wählte, kein Außenfenster und keinen Meerblick . Allerdings war die Steppdecke jeden Tag nass, als ich ins Zimmer zurückkehrte. Ich habe sie mitgenommen. Das Gleiche gilt für Kleidung, also muss es schlimmer sein, wenn es Zimmer mit Außenfenstern gibt (Zimmer mit Meerblick), aber ich habe es getan In Räumen ohne Außenfenster sieht man keine schimmeligen Teile‧ Wenn Sie in diesem Hotel übernachten möchten, genießen Sie einfach den Swimmingpool. Er ist nicht tief, die Temperatur ist genau richtig und das Gesamterlebnis ist wirklich großartig. Aber zwangsläufig sind ihre Zimmer sehr feucht, die Schalldämmung ist nicht sehr gut, und das Essen ist mittelmäßig. ‧
