"Das WLAN ist extrem langsam. Ich habe schon mehrmals angerufen, warum es so langsam ist, da ich arbeite. Ich habe zwar eine andere Verbindung bekommen, aber die ist leider auch viel zu langsam! Es gibt zwar eine Klimaanlage, aber die kühlt einfach nicht, egal wie man sie einstellt!"

"Ich übernachte immer wieder gerne in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist gut und das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Bettwäsche ist sauber. Als wir jedoch zusätzliche Kissen bestellten, waren deren Bezüge gelblich. Obwohl es frisch und sauber roch, wirkte es etwas unordentlich. Das hat unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht beeinträchtigt und wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"Samal Island ist nur wenige Minuten mit dem Boot von Davao City entfernt. Discovery hat ein eigenes Charter-Schnellboot zum Anwesen. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir in die Hauptlobby begleitet. Von der Hauptlobby aus sehen Sie den Strand (weißer Sand, aber nicht so fein). Dort gibt es auch das Restaurant Haribsr und Morning Catch. Dann wurden wir mit Golfwagen zu unserem Schlafzimmer begleitet. Vom Schlafzimmer aus hat man einen Blick auf den olympischen Pool mit Blick auf Davao CITY. Das Anwesen hat auch eine schwimmende Kapelle, ein Kongresszentrum und Villen mit eigenem Pool. Das Schlafzimmer ist groß und hat eine eigene Terrasse. Insgesamt ist das Resort sehr schön. Erst ein Jahr nach der Eröffnung sind die Mitarbeiter sehr nett, zuvorkommend und gut ausgebildet. Besonders zu erwähnen ist einer der Mitarbeiter, der sich um uns gekümmert hat, Sir Ching. Er hat sich besonders viel Mühe gegeben, um uns ein Zimmer mit Kingsize-Bett mit Blick auf den Pool zu finden. Vielen Dank!"

"Ich habe dieses Hotel für meine Tante gebucht, die in die USA zurückkehrte, und für meine Mutter, und ich bin etwas verlegen über ihre Bewertung ihrer Erfahrung. Erstens wurde mir, obwohl ich ausdrücklich nach einem Deluxe-Zweibettzimmer gefragt hatte, stattdessen ein Doppelzimmer gegeben. Außerdem war die Klimaanlage kaputt, sodass meine Tante an ihrem letzten Tag auf den Philippinen wie verrückt schwitzte. Sie erwähnten zwar, dass das Hotel sauber war und das Äußere hübsch aussah, aber das war auch schon alles, was sie feststellen konnten."

"Das Hotel bietet einen exzellenten und schnellen Service beim Check-in, Check-out und Zimmerservice. Der Swimmingpool ist mit ca. 30 Metern Länge zwar schön, aber etwas schmal. Es kann zu Stromausfällen kommen, was aufgrund der manuellen Klimaanlage sehr unangenehm ist. Das Frühstück ist für einen Filipino in Ordnung, könnte aber für europäische Gäste etwas aufgewertet werden. Die Lage ist hervorragend für Morgenjogger, Spaziergänger und Radfahrer (Azuela Cove). Der Komplex liegt direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite."

"It was an amazing stay in Dusit Thani. Their breakfast have good variety everyday. If you request for bacon they will make one for you. The staff are very accomodating and i like how they greet the guests all the time. The spa is amazing very relaxing and the gym is clean and open 24/7. Pool is nice. We got the nice view from the 5th floor. Everyone is super mabait and amazing from the guards to reception, to staff and housekeeping. Will recommend this hotel to my friends who will visit Davao"

"Die Lage ist gut. Direkt neben dem People's Park, wo die Einheimischen gerne spazieren gehen. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas älter, aber die Zimmer sind geräumig. Gleich nebenan befindet sich das sehr gute spanische Restaurant Wobbly Pan Spanish Bistro. Insgesamt hatte ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt."

"From the moment we arrived at Dusit Thani Residence Davao, we felt welcomed and well-taken care of. The lobby, though modest in size, exuded a calm charm and the check-in process was smooth. We were greeted warmly by staff who treated us with genuine hospitality — their attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Many previous guests also praised the staff’s politeness and readiness to help.  We stayed in a studio apartment, and it was nothing short of comfortable. The room came with a kitchenette, a coffee/tea maker, minibar, and free WiFi — extremely convenient whether you’re staying briefly or planning a longer stay.  The modern fittings and thoughtful layout made it easy to relax or be productive: there was enough space to move around, and everything was clean and well-kept.
