Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem wundervollen Hotel und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel liegt eingebettet in eine atemberaubende Naturlandschaft und vereint Komfort und Schönheit perfekt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, hell und bieten einen unvergleichlichen Meerblick. Die Betten sind äußerst bequem, und das Badezimmer ist ein echter Pluspunkt: groß, modern und mit Badewanne und ebenerdiger Dusche mit Blick aufs Meer ausgestattet – ein romantisches Detail, das den Aufenthalt auch für Paare, die Entspannung suchen, perfekt macht. Die Außenbereiche werden mit großer Sorgfalt gepflegt: Es gibt zahlreiche Swimmingpools, darunter einen exklusiv für Erwachsene, den wir wegen seiner Ruhe und Aussicht besonders geschätzt haben. Auch der Fitnessraum ist hervorragend und gut ausgestattet, und die Möglichkeit, täglich an Yoga-Stunden mit qualifizierten Lehrern teilzunehmen, ist sehr interessant. Einzig der Service hat uns etwas enttäuscht, da er noch nicht dem Standard eines 5-Sterne-Hotels entspricht. Wir vermuten, dass dies auf die erst vor etwa einem Jahr erfolgte Eröffnung und die damit verbundene Unerfahrenheit einiger Mitarbeiter zurückzuführen ist. Die Wartezeiten beim Frühstück waren beispielsweise selbst bei früher Ankunft (um 7:30 Uhr) recht lang, und mehrmals wurde vergessen, das Zimmer zu beziehen, was uns dazu zwang, dies zu melden. Der interne Transportservice, der angesichts der Größe des Resorts und der Höhenunterschiede zwischen den verschiedenen Bereichen unerlässlich ist, war nicht immer pünktlich oder ausreichend, um alle Gäste zu befördern. Manchmal zogen wir es vor, trotz der anspruchsvollen Anstiege zu Fuß zu gehen. Auch während der Mahlzeiten war der Service trotz guter Qualität und reichhaltigem Frühstück oft langsam oder unorganisiert, und Bestellungen wurden vergessen oder verspätet (insbesondere Omelettes und Cappuccinos). Das Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit, befand sich aber hinsichtlich der effizienten Führung einer Anlage dieses Niveaus noch in der Einarbeitungsphase. Kurz gesagt: Das Marriott of the Perhentians hat alle Voraussetzungen, um zu einer echten Referenz in der Luxushotellerie auf der Insel zu werden: eine traumhafte Lage, hoher Komfort und ein sehr reichhaltiges Angebot. Wir hoffen, dass es mit etwas mehr Erfahrung und Organisation im Service bald sein volles Potenzial entfalten kann.

Das Zimmer selbst war wirklich gut und geräumig, es bot Platz für drei bis vier Personen. Der einzige Nachteil war die sehr späte Check-in-Zeit um 15:00 Uhr. Es war am Nachmittag besonders heiß und wir waren draußen fast am Verdursten. Die Lage des Zimmers war etwas abgelegen, wodurch es ruhiger und weniger belebt war, was mir gut gefiel. Ich entspanne aber auch gerne auf den Liegestühlen am Strand nebenan. Zu guter Letzt war das Restaurant dieses Hotels wirklich nicht gut. Auch an der Rezeption sprachen nicht viele Leute Englisch, was die Kommunikation etwas erschwerte.

I went here for a convention and I stayed for 2 days and 3 nights. The room is very spacious and clean. A big plus for me is that the rooms have no carpet. Affordable and fast room service. Easy checkin and checkout. The only con I see is that the rooms are not that soundproof. I also tried their gymnasium, they have a cable machine, free weights, elliptical, stationary bike and treadmill. Also, another con is if you like to do your laundry in a hotel, their laundry service is sooo expensive. They charge per clothing, not per kg. But nevertheless, staying here is value for money. Its walking distance from the airport (less than 1km). But if you want to explore the city center, this place is quite far from the center.

We initially had a frustrating experience as our towels were delivered quite late. However, the situation was handled professionally by Manager Iza, who personally delivered the towels to our room and sincerely apologized for the delay. Her prompt action and attention to guests made a positive difference. Overall, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked four rooms and requested them to be located near each other, which the hotel successfully accommodated. However, housekeeping services need improvement, as one of our rooms was not serviced and there were some inconsistencies in room maintenance during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. It is close to everything we needed, with Restoran Singgang Budu located right beside the hotel. There are also laundry facilities nearby, and plenty of food options within walking distance, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and genuinely tried their best to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. While housekeeping could be improved, the service recovery by the management team and the hotel’s strategic location made our overall stay enjoyable.

I recently stayed at Langit Duyong Hotel, Terengganu for 2 nights. First of all, I would like to say that the ambience, location, and overall scenery were truly beautiful. The view was one of the main highlights of my stay. The peaceful waterfront setting and natural surroundings created a relaxing atmosphere, especially during sunrise and sunset. The property has great potential and offers a unique experience compared to typical hotels. Unfortunately, my experience was significantly affected by several issues. The biggest disappointment was the cleanliness of the room. Upon check-in, the room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard, and I had to contact housekeeping to perform a second round of cleaning. While the housekeeping team responded, guests should not have to request additional cleaning upon arrival. Cleanliness is a basic expectation for any accommodation. Another concern was the maintenance of the surrounding area. The grass around the property was quite long and appeared untrimmed. As a guest, this raised concerns about the possibility of snakes, insects, or other animals entering the vicinity of the rooms. Regular landscaping and maintenance would greatly improve both safety and the overall appearance of the property. The most frustrating issue, however, was the ongoing renovation work at the neighbouring unit/building. There was significant construction noise starting early in the morning during both days of my stay. What made this more disappointing was that guests were not informed beforehand about the renovation activities. Had I known in advance, I could have managed my expectations or made a different booking decision. Transparency regarding major renovation works is important, especially for guests who choose this property expecting a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the beautiful view, strategic location, and unique atmosphere of the hotel. However, the cleanliness issues, lack of landscape maintenance, and unannounced renovation noise greatly affected the experience. I left feeling both impressed by the property’s potential and disappointed by the management’s attention to guest comfort. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously, as with better maintenance, communication, and housekeeping standards, this could be a truly exceptional place to stay in Terengganu.

Ich hatte das Sunrise Horizon Zimmer gebucht, da ich die Deko für die Geburtstagsfeier schon geplant hatte. Bei meiner Ankunft sagte mir die Rezeptionistin, mein Zimmer sei nicht im System. Dann hieß es, das Sunrise Horizon sei für den Tag ausgebucht und ich bekäme ein Upgrade auf ein Junior-Zimmer mit Babybett. Ich sagte, ich bräuchte das Babybett nicht, da es die Deko und das Geburtstagsvideo stören würde. Sie meinte, man könne es nicht entfernen. Ätzend. Außerdem funktionierte die Tür nicht richtig. Sie piepte ständig. Als der Techniker kam, um sie zu reparieren, stellte sich am nächsten Tag heraus, dass die Tür nicht einmal mehr mit der Karte geöffnet werden konnte. Echt nervig.

Das Hotel hat kein warmes Wasser geliefert, was es ungünstig machte, eine Dusche zu nehmen. Darüber hinaus ist das Hotel neben einer Hauptstraße gelegen, und der konstante Verkehrslärm in der Nacht hat meine Schlafqualität erheblich beeinflusst. Ich hoffe, das Hotel kann seine Einrichtungen und die Soundproofing verbessern.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in einem Premium-Zimmer mit Meerblick sehr genossen. Es war mit allem Komfort ausgestattet: Warmwasser, Klimaanlage, Ventilator und einem Wasserhahn am Eingang, um sich die Füße vom Sand zu waschen. Das Personal ist herzlich und zuvorkommend. Man merkt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Am Strand gibt es Liegestühle, Handtücher werden täglich bereitgestellt, weißer Sand, türkisfarbenes Meer, Möglichkeiten zum Tauchen, Schnorcheln und Kajakfahren sowie verschiedene Ausflüge. Ein Wassertaxi fährt zu verschiedenen Stränden oder zu einer Nachbarinsel. Man kann an geführten Dschungelwanderungen zu benachbarten Stränden teilnehmen. Rechts vom Strand erstreckt sich eine faszinierende Unterwasserwelt – kleine, mittlere und große Fische, bis hin zu einem riesigen Fisch mit Lippen. Wir haben auch einen etwa 20 cm langen Babyhai gesehen. An mehreren Tagen tauchten große Schildkröten auf, eine schwamm sogar ans Ufer und ließ sich von uns streicheln.

I had a wonderful stay at Resorts World Kijal. The resort offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect getaway from the busy city. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views and well-maintained facilities. The staff were warm, friendly, and always willing to assist, making the entire experience pleasant from check-in to check-out. The beach is clean and serene, ideal for morning walks and enjoying the sunrise. The swimming pool and other recreational facilities were also well maintained and suitable for both families and couples. The food was delicious, with a good variety of local and international dishes. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend Resorts World Kijal to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation. I look forward to visiting again in the future.
