Es war ein völlig anderes Willkommenskonzept als der Shahzan, den wir immer in Fraser Hill häufig waren. Die Zimmer wurden sehr bemerkenswert verbessert in Bezug auf Fußboden, Bad und Ausstattung. Das Restaurant Puteri Teja Cafe wurde auch positiv mit einem für Kinder Spielplatz zugewiesenen Ecken verlegt. Das Restaurant hat auch das Schlafzimmer mit einem sauberen Spaziergang und eine bemerkenswerte Verbesserung. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt hier ein super süßes und wir würden sicherlich eine weitere Reise in Zukunft machen.

Location is good. Cleanliness still needs improvement. Toilet bowl cover was already spoiled when we checked in. Service was normal and amenities needs more like floor slippers, tissues and mirror. Overall still ok for price paid. Hope there will be more improvement in future.

Overall Review: Great Views, But a Noticeable Gap Between Experience and Expectations Overall, this stay had clear pros and cons. The hotel’s location and scenery are undeniably excellent, but there is still considerable room for improvement in areas such as traffic flow planning, facility details, service experience, and privacy management. Given the Ascott brand management and a room rate of RM1,100+ per night, we had expected a more premium accommodation experience. Unfortunately, the actual stay fell short of expectations and did not fully reflect the price point. Pros 1. Excellent Location and Scenic View The hotel is strategically located along a main road and directly opposite a golf course, offering an unobstructed view. Waking up to lush green lawns, blue skies, and white clouds created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. 2. Room Layout Suitable for Families or Groups We stayed in a Premium Two-Bedroom Unit, which was nicely designed with a practical layout. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Although the bathrooms were relatively small, having two bedrooms and two bathrooms made it convenient and comfortable for a group of four. 3. Thoughtful Amenities The hot and cold water dispenser located at the lift lobby was a thoughtful touch. The room also came with a kettle, which was especially convenient for families and guests who prefer hot drinks. Cons 1. Bed Comfort Could Be Improved The bed was Queen-sized, but the mattress felt rather firm, while the pillows were overly large and thick, making the sleeping experience less comfortable. 2. Lift Access System Was Not Sensitive Enough The lift card scanning sensor was not very responsive. When staying on a lower floor, there were occasions where the access card had not yet been detected before the lift had already passed the intended floor, which affected convenience and user experience. 3. Poor Drop-Off and Parking Layout The luggage unloading area was located at the entrance of the parking area, where the road was narrow and often obstructed traffic flow. In addition, after rainfall, the parking area had significant puddles, making it inconvenient to walk, especially when carrying luggage. 4. Limited Check-In Space The check-in reception area was relatively small and struggled to handle the holiday crowd. During peak periods, the space became congested and chaotic. 5. Narrow Public Areas and Restaurant Queue Management The hotel hallways were generally narrow. While it is understandable that queues are unavoidable during peak travel seasons, the restaurant waiting area was clearly unable to accommodate the volume of guests, resulting in congestion. 6. Inefficient Dining Area Layout The food serving area could be better organized, especially around the coffee machine section. Despite having multiple machines, they were still insufficient to handle the high guest volume, leading to long queues. 7. Privacy Concerns The hotel should consider implementing stricter drone control policies within the property. While staying on the 4th floor, we woke up to find a drone flying past our open balcony/door area, which felt intrusive and raised privacy concerns. 8. Mismatch Between Price and Experience We chose this property largely because of the Ascott brand reputation and the RM1,100+ nightly rate, expecting a more premium level of accommodation and service. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet expectations. From operational details to service quality, the hotel did not reflect the level typically associated with its pricing and branding.

Wenn Sie nach einem schönen Resort-Kurzurlaub suchen, um einfach abzuschalten und zu chillen, dann ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie. Es liegt auf einer privaten Seite der Insel mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf das kristallklare Wasser, den weichen Sand, aber mit vielen Felsen. Die Rückseite blickt auf den natürlichen Regenwald und die majestätischen Twin Peaks. Die Zimmer sind recht rustikal, aber sauber, was am wichtigsten ist. Wie in allen anderen Strandresorts liegt jedoch immer noch etwas Sand auf dem Boden und dem Bett. Die Toilette und die Dusche funktionieren gut. Meine Familie und ich hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Es gibt nicht viel Auswahl beim Essen, da das Resort nur ein Restaurant hat, aber das asiatische Essen ist ganz gut. Es gibt auch nicht viele Aktivitäten, es sei denn, Sie melden sich für einen Schnorchelausflug an, aber das ist ziemlich teuer und meine Tochter ist noch zu jung dafür. Aber ich habe die Natur, das Meer, den Sand und den Pool genossen. Einfach entspannen und abschalten.

Im Swiss-Garden Hotel Genting Highlands hatte ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Das Front Desk Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und gab klare Informationen während des Eincheckens und des Aufenthalts. Das Zimmer war geräumig, komfortabel und gut gepflegt. Eines, was ich wirklich geschätzt hatte, war der hervorragende Duschewasserdruck sicherlich ein Plus nach einem langen Tag aus. Der Pool war schön, aber es kann ziemlich besetzt werden, da es mit den Wohnstätten geteilt ist. Die Suche nach einer ruhigeren Zeit, um es zu nutzen, könnte eine gute Idee sein. Ein weiterer Bonus ist die kostenlose Parkplätze für Hotelgäste, die immer geschätzt wird. Insgesamt, ein komfortables Aufenthalt mit guter Service, geräumigen Zimmern und komfortabelen Einrichtungen. Ich würde überlegen, hier wieder zu bleiben.

Seine strategische Lage auf einem Hügel bietet atemberaubende Ausblicke auf die umliegenden Berge und Täler und macht es zu einem perfekten Ausgangspunkt, um nahe gelegene Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Teeplantagen, Erdbeerfarmen und Wanderwege zu erkunden.

Spectacular Night Experience Hi there, I just wanted to share how amazing the light-up circuit experience was at night. The whole setup felt really spectacular and enchanting—seeing everything glow and come to life after dark was truly unforgettable. What made it even better was the way the sun played into the experience as the day faded—everything looked breathtaking, and the atmosphere felt warm and soothing. My recent stay at the Genting SkyWorlds Hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While there were certainly some positive aspects to the customer service, a few notable inconveniences and cleanliness issues held the experience back from being a great one. Here is a breakdown of our experience: Location & Accessibility  A Long Walk to the Room: Our room was located in the Valley Wing, which is quite a considerable distance from the main reception area. Navigating through the hotel with luggage after a long journey was exhausting, so be prepared for a bit of a trek.  Inconvenient Breakfast Setup: If you are expecting a quick stroll down to breakfast, be aware that the morning buffet is technically located in an entirely different building. It takes about a 10-minute walk just to get your morning coffee, which is slightly frustrating if you are traveling with family or want a slow, relaxing morning. Cleanliness & Room Condition  Initial Hygiene Concerns: Upon checking in, we were disappointed to find stray hairs both inside and on top of our pillowcases. This naturally made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned prior to our arrival.  Stained Toilet Seat: The bathroom also left a lot to be desired. There were noticeable stains on the toilet seat, which really detracted from the comfort of the room. A higher standard of deep cleaning is definitely needed here. Service & Housekeeping  Excellent Recovery: I have to give credit where it is due—when we raised the issue about the dirty pillowcases, the staff’s response was incredibly fast. They arrived promptly to change out the bedsheets and pillowcases, and their polite, efficient service was very much appreciated.  Missed Details by Housekeeping: While the daily housekeeping staff did a generally good job of tidying up the room, they lacked attention to detail. They completely forgot to provide or replenish basic room amenities, specifically leaving out the room slippers, facial tissues, and the bathroom floor mat. Final Verdict: Genting SkyWorlds Hotel has the potential to be a great stay, especially with their responsive customer service team. However, the sheer distance to the Valley Wing rooms, the inconvenient breakfast location, and the inconsistent attention to cleanliness and room amenities make it hard to fully recommend without caveats.

My family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didn’t just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with God’s will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending.

Dies ist meine zweite Buchung in diesem Hotel. Meine erste Erfahrung war besser 🤣 Die neue Aufteilung des Hotels ist zunächst ziemlich verwirrend. Der Service war mittelmäßig. Die Lage war auf dem Gipfel der Genting Highlands. Ich wünschte jedoch, der Transport-/Shuttleservice könnte verbessert werden. Bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel bin ich mit dem Auto angereist. Daher habe ich keine Probleme mit dem Transport. Bei meinem zweiten Besuch habe ich beschlossen, den Shuttleservice des Hotels zu nutzen. Insgesamt würde ich dieses Hotel für seine Lage und Sauberkeit mit 4/5 bewerten.
