KKennyDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks.
One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel.
Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay.
In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

AAnonymer BenutzerRoom was spacious enough for 3 adults (the room is meant for 4 adults). Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and the toilet is separated. Water pressure is good too. It's more like a mini studio apartment, there's a mini bar, a kitchen sink and microwave as well. There's a laundry area in the hotel but we didn't check that out. Parking space is available for those that are driving.
Location wise, it's quiet and about 10 mins walk from Iseshi station. There's a Lawson convenience store just 2 mins walk away.
To take note:
1. The bedsheets had some stain. It's probably washed but the stain was still there.
2. The window behind the bed has no curtain and the sun rises pretty early. So it's super bright, however they do provide eye mask for you.
3. There's no luggage storage or luggage delivery services available.
4. No breakfast option and the town has limited options.
All in all, was a good stay. Would recommend.

GGastnutzerEin westliches Hotel im alten Stil, aber im Allgemeinen sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich bat sie, mir bei der telefonischen Reservierung eines Restaurants zu helfen. Ich wusste nicht, dass das Restaurant noch nicht geöffnet hatte. Das Hotelpersonal versuchte mehrmals, das Restaurant anzurufen, aber niemand antwortete. Schließlich schickte das Hotelpersonal dem Restaurant eine Nachricht. Ich hatte das Hotelpersonal nicht darum gebeten, aber sie taten es von sich aus. Ohne die Nachricht des Hotels an das Restaurant hätten wir kein schönes Oyster-Buffet bekommen. Vielen Dank. Wenn ich mich beschweren muss, dann, dass sie das Badezimmer gründlicher reinigen müssen. Die Toilette und das Badezimmer im Zimmer wurden erst vor ein paar Jahren komplett renoviert, aber es gab bereits schwarze Flecken und Schimmel an der Wand neben der Badewanne. Außerdem ist Staub auf dem Handlauf in der Toilette.

1. The photo posted by this website was a lie - the room was very different to the reality. For a start there was no in room onsen and that had been a major factor in me making this booking. I was really disappointed on arrival.
2. However it has to be said the staff are fabulous, the food excellent and everything about the place shows a tremendous attention to detail. After a lovely long soak in the Onsen available to guests and a fabulous dinner my mood was quite recovered. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for someone looking for a luxurious retreat and plan to return myself.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is in a very good location, close to the bus stop, and only a few steps to the beach. They have free shuttle bus from the hotel to Toba station at 9.00 and 10 a.m. The staff are accommodating and some speak some English.
The area is very beautiful and peaceful but very local. If you are planning a trip here make sure you stock up snacks from the convenient stores because there are no 7-11, Lawson, or any Family Mart within walking distance. If you would like to have breakfast and dinner at a hotel please inform them when you make booking or a few days in advance. People are very nice but language can be a barrier.

GGuest UserAmazing staff - always kind and helpful. Food was wonderful and the best we had in Japan. The menu had around ten courses, each course with multiple small bowls and dips, beautifully arranged and served with love. The fish was very fresh and tasted amazing.
We enjoyed using the onsen every day. Always clean, hot and soothing, they also offer a wide range of shampoo, conditioner and conditioner. No need to bring your own.
The hotel itself (and the town) is a bit old unfortunately and although it is very clean, beds and rugs are older and might smell a bit. Other than that our stay was perfect.

GGastnutzerFür den Preis ist EN Hotel ein anständiger Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer ist sauber, sie bieten kostenlose Kaffee, Tee und persönliche Pflegeprodukte im Lobby. Lage weise, es ist schön. Es gibt einen Komfortladen in der Nähe und der Außenseite Ise Jingu ist eine kurze Fahrt. (Der Hauptschrein liegt etwa 20 Minuten pro Auto.) Die Service ist standardmäßig.
Das Zimmer ist wirtschaftlich groß. Die öffentlichen Räume riechen ein wenig wie Tabak. Das WLAN ist nicht sehr gut (verwenden Sie es nicht, wenn Sie etwas Wichtiges versuchen).
Entschuldigen Sie, keine Unsinn auf dem Grundstück.

TTravellingAllTheTimeLocation was less than 5 mins from JR platform. Note if you are arriving onto Kintetsu platform, remember to cross the overhead bridge first to JR platform before exiting the station otherwise you’ll need to walk 15 mins to cross the railway crossing in a roundabout direction. Room was 15msq but didn’t feel tiny as we brought a small size luggage. Plenty of food options and familymart nearby. A must eat restaurant for dinner (washoku sato) great variety and very reasonable prices. Outer shrine was 15mins away and inner shrine was a 25mins bus ride. Great weekend getaway!!
