💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! 因為約了第二天去看冰洞，發現這裏離集合地點才46公里，雖然是要走回頭路，因為價格算是性價比最高的了，於是就訂下來了。 晚上10點才到冰河湖，拍照後到酒店已經11點半，發現酒店後面就是一個大冰川，從房間的窗户就完全可以看到躺在床上還發現屋頂上有一個天窗，躺在床上就能看星空和極光！ 空間確實有點小（冰島酒店的普遍現象！），但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，我們在房間做了晚餐。浴室裏有地暖，很不錯👍

Nachteile: Das Hotelzimmer und die Böden sind sehr staubig und werden nicht gut gereinigt. Die Schalldämmung des Zimmers war nicht gut und andere Mieter konnten deutlich hören, wenn sie sich auf dem Flur unterhielten. Obwohl das Hotel als Fünf-Sterne-Hotel beworben wird, ist das Frühstück in Bezug auf Brot, Joghurt usw. tatsächlich nicht so gut wie das Gästehaus und die Drei-Sterne-Hotels, in denen wir auf dieser Reise übernachtet haben. Vorteile: Frühstück inklusive, große Badewanne. Das Zimmer ist im amerikanischen Landhausstil eingerichtet und von der Größe her in Ordnung. Als ich auscheckte, gab es einen Fehler, dass andere Gäste in meiner Zimmernummer mehr als 40.000 lokale Währungen für das Abendessen berechneten. Zum Glück sagte ein anderer Servicemitarbeiter sofort, man solle sich darüber keine Sorgen machen.

Sehr gute Lage, ganz in der Nähe beim Wasserfall. Wir haben sogar das Zimmer früher als Check in war, qas wir sehr schätzen. Super Frühstück und Kaffee, Tee oder Kakao ganzen Aufenthalt vom Kaffeeautomat gratis. Super Ausgangspunkt für eine Tagestur vorbei der Fluss und Wassefälle bis ganz oben zun den Bergen.

Das Personal war unglaublich willkommen, professionell und auf jeden Detail aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war unspottlich sauber und schön gestaltet.Die Lage war perfektconvenience.I genossen auch das leckere Frühstücksbuffet mit schönen Blicken.

Das Hotel liegt hervorragend auf einer kleinen Insel direkt neben dem schwarzen Sandstrand. Allerdings gibt es im Zimmer ziemlich viele Insekten und es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, das größte, in dem ich je in Island übernachtet habe!

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür in der Stadt. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und es ist schwierig, großes Gepäck zu transportieren, wenn man in einem der oberen Stockwerke wohnt. Der Rezeptionist half mir jedoch, zwei Koffer gleichzeitig nach oben zu tragen. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Die Unterkunft war gut. Die Unterkunft war geräumig, vor allem das Badezimmer, das einen Umschlag hatte, was für die Verbreitung all meine Kosmetik nützlich war! Der Ort selbst ist kein touristisches Ziel, aber es war sehr nützlich. Es gab Supermarkt in der Nähe und eine Tankstelle und nicht weit von der Hauptstraße. Handy für die Flo Naturreserve, wenn Sie in Vogelwache. Die Küstenlinie ist beeindruckend. Große Wellen Oder handvoll, wenn Sie Reykjavik besuchen wollen, was wir für den Abend gemacht. (45 Minuten Fahrt?). Ich habe nicht so hoch auf den Service gesetzt, weil es keinen Service als solche gibt. Es gab auch keine zusätzlichen Einrichtungen außer dem Zimmer und dann, was gut war. Parkplatz ist vorne und war reichlich. Wir blieben Mitte Mai und es war glücklicherweise sehr ruhig. Wir kamen früh, und wir waren froh, in unsere Zimmer zu gelassen, so wirklich geschätzt. Danke!

The room was not soundproof at all, and I could clearly hear noise throughout the night. The entire room felt damp, especially the bedding. The blanket was noticeably moist, which caused me to have an allergic reaction. My skin became extremely itchy, and I barely got any sleep the whole night. This was a very uncomfortable experience, and I was extremely disappointed. I will definitely not stay here again.
