Ort: Ausgezeichnet Einrichtungen: Gut Dienst: Unzureichend 1. Es gab niemand, der uns bei der Ankunft greetet 2. Unsere Taschen waren unaufgemerkt und wir mussten sie in unser Zimmer selbst bringen. 3. Moskitos überall. 4. Wir mussten eine Moskito-Repellent beantragen. Das Hotelpersonal sollte aufmerksamer sein und sicherstellen, dass Zimmer mit wesentlichen Materialien gespeichert sind. 5. Das Essen, das wir für das Innengebäude bestellt hatten, war nicht einmal warm (vergiss das heiße Essen). Wir bestellten nur einige frische Fruchtfrüchte und einen Sandwich - nicht sicher, ob die frische Fruchtfrüchte vorbereitet und aus Frankreich versandt wurden 😂 Sie werden diesen Ort nie wieder wählen.

Das Hotel ist tatsächlich veraltet, mit langweiligem Interieur, verblassenden Farben und abgenutzten harten Materialien. Sie sollten etwas tun, um die Vögel loszuwerden, die auf die Fenster kacken und unangenehme Ausblicke bieten. Von außen sieht *** offensichtlich viele Risse im ganzen Gebäude. Fayaz, der Typ an der Rezeption, weiß nicht, wie *** beim Begrüßen von Gästen lächelt. Sie sagen, es ist ein Luxushotel, aber Sie müssen daran arbeiten. Sonst wird die Konkurrenz übernehmen.

Es war schöner Aufenthalt I. Chennai , gute Lage , Personal sind unterstützend und freundlich , viele Einkaufszentren und Unterhaltung in der Nähe von , Insgesamt sehr gut Hotel für einen angemessenen Preis .

Fabelhaft auf einem Hügel etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach unten zur Stadt (gewiss einen Rickshaw zurück). Wir konnten nicht bestellen Eier zum Frühstück bis zum zweiten Morgen (nicht am ersten Morgen angeboten). Das Bad war bei der Ankunft nicht gereinigt worden und es gab Splittermarken auf der Wand über dem Tee-/Kaffeebereich. Wir kamen auch spätestens am Nachmittag in unser Zimmer zurück, um Wartungsarbeiten auf unserem Balkon zu finden - fühlten sich, das hätte nach der Abreise getan werden können! Fantastische Dusche. Wir essen in dem Restaurant eine Nacht und das Essen war sehr gut. Die hohen Steuern in Tamil Nadu hinzugefügt zu dem Preis (fast 25%) so beachten Sie das. Cocktails weee ausgezeichnet. Wir machten den Morgen ’Hike’, was gut wert war, aufzustehen.  Wir hatten am zweiten Abend eine heiße Wasserflasche mitgebracht, die eine wunderbare Überraschung war.  Tee & Kuchen serviert zwischen 5 & 5.30pm, was ein schöner Touch war, obwohl mehr von dem Frühstücksküche wäre gut gewesen. Ich empfehle Ihnen, hier zu bleiben, da Zimmer, Lage & Restaurant sind ausgezeichnet.

Gutes Hotel, guter Service, sauber und komfortabel

Nach acht Jahren zurückkehrte ich zu diesem Ort, und ich hoffte, dass ich die gleiche 5-Sterne-Erfahrung genieße, die ich einmal genossen habe. Leider ist es nicht ganz, was es war, und das Eigentum beginnt seine Altersstufe zu zeigen. Auf positivem Hinweis waren die Mitarbeiter warm und freundlich überall von der Rezeption bis zum Restaurantteam. Ihr Professionalismus und Freundlichkeit waren ein Highlight des Aufenthalts. Der Restaurantmanager Nazim war hilfreich. Das Zimmer war jedoch enttäuschend. Als ich eintrat, gab es einen starken, musty Geruch. Als ich das auf das Frontdesk erwähnte, wurde mir gesagt, dass alle Zimmer diesen Geruch haben und dass es in etwa 10 Minuten verschwunden würde aber leider, es liege. Es scheint, dass Gäste einfach über die Zeit daran gewöhnt werden können. Nicht mich.. lol. Das Colony Restaurant bot ein anständiges Frühstück, aber nicht so viel zu essen. Es fühlte sich überfüllt und krampft, und das Buffetmenü war nicht der größte, mit Nahrungsmittelqualität war nur durchschnittlich. Die wichtigsten Stärken dieser Lage bleiben die bequeme Lage, freundliches Personal und ein umfangreiches Parken. Mit einigen Updates und Verbesserungen könnte es wieder auf seinen früheren Ruf leben.

My stay began on a disappointing note. I arrived at the lobby on a Sunday afternoon and waited nearly 40 minutes before anyone attended to me. Although I was clearly in line, a couple of other guests approached the desk and were assisted before me. I expected the concierge or front-desk staff to notice the situation and assist guests in the order they arrived, but unfortunately, that did not happen. Once I was finally checked in, I was assigned a room on the fourth floor. The room itself was acceptable. I generally do not have particularly high expectations regarding hotel-room ambience, as I find that it often does not vary significantly across hotels, regardless of their star rating. What I found especially unreasonable was the hotel’s pricing. Items available in the room, such as a Snickers bar priced at ₹155 and a packet of Lay’s priced at ₹55, ***** with peanuts and carbonated drinks, were listed at several times their normal retail prices. The markup was so excessive that it made me wonder whether the hotel actually wanted guests to consume these items or was simply trying to impose an unnecessary and inflated expense. The same applied to transportation. The hotel quoted ₹1,800 plus taxes for a sedan to the airport. I booked an Uber for the exact same journey for ₹699. Charging well over twice the market price—and then adding taxes on top of it—is frankly absurd. Hotel convenience may reasonably come at a premium, but this felt less like a premium service and more like an attempt to take advantage of guests. The complimentary breakfast, however, offered a wide variety of options and was probably the most redeeming part of the stay.

This was my 1st stay for 2 nights and I really enjoyed this Hotel Madurai Kitchen food /hotel service /and very friendly staffs . The security was awesome .Makes you feel very safe in this Hotel . Location was great too .Close by to all the important places to visit . Everything was great . Thank You Marriot Madurai . Hope my next stay I can have a room which has a better view rather than partial brick walls although I did not mention to the Reception

Stayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins. Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages. Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for! Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him. Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette. Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day! Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai! We will surely return. My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors.

My initial stay at this newly launched hotel was excellent. The modern facilities were in perfect working order, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. It was a promising start that convinced me to return. Unfortunately, my second stay was profoundly disappointing and raised several concerns. The first room I was assigned had a strong, unpleasant odor. While I appreciate the staff promptly moving me to a second room, it only partially resolved the issue, as a faint strange smell persisted. The second room had multiple functional problems: * Non-Functional Power:** The USB ports and power sockets on the wall faulty. * Inconsistent Hot Water:** The water heater took an excessively long time to heat up, disrupting my routine. * Purify water contamination:** There's particles and oil from the purify water. It seems contamination from central filter. Most alarmingly, at approximately 6 AM one morning, a **very loud alarm sounded from the door area.** This was highly disruptive and concerning, as it was unclear whether it was a security breach alarm or a triggered fire alarm. The lack of any immediate information or follow-up from the hotel staff regarding this incident left me feeling unsettled and concerned about the emergency protocols. While the front desk staff were helpful in changing my room, the combination of maintenance failures and a confusing safety alarm indicates a significant lapse in operational standards. For a new hotel, this is troubling. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure the safety and comfort of all future guests.
