Lovely clean and welcoming hotel with great facilities. There is a spa and pool at the hotel and a restaurant. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

Wir waren überrascht, wie schön das Hotel ist für den Preis, den wir bezahlt haben. Ich ging mit einem alten Freund für einen Mitte-Wochen-Stadturlaub in Sheffield. Das Hotel ist ziemlich nahe der Theb-Bahnstation und wir gingen dort leicht mit unseren gefahrenen Taschen. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich und hilfsbereit Das Badezimmer hatte ein Bad und eine Dusche; das Schlafzimmer selbst war eine anständige Größe. Ich glaube nicht, dass die elektronische Safe richtig funktionierte, oder vielleicht wurde es falsch verwendet, nicht sicher, lol. Das Zimmer war sehr gut und unerwartet, das Wi-Fi war auch sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und wir konnten mehr Kaffee, Tee und Milch von der Rezeption erhalten. Wir gingen nicht zum Fitness- oder Spa-Zimmer, wir gingen zum Schwimmen und es ist ein schöner, großer, gut erhitzter Pool. Es gab auch zwei Dampfzimmer, eine Sauna, ein Eisraum und eine Entdeckungsdusche (eine warme oder kalte Dusche mit vier Sprühspritzen und rote und blaue Lichter). Es gab keine Maschine, um das Schwimmbad in zu drehen, aber es gab Polythene-Beutel für weiches Schwimmbad. Ein schöner Touch in der Fitnessrezeption war eine Kaffeemaschine, wo Sie sitzen und einen kostenlosen Cappuccino oder was auch immer Ihre Fantasie ist. Wir haben den Zug nach Meadowhall, der 5 Minuten dauerte und kostete £2.90 Rückkehr (mit unseren Senioren-Schienenkarten). Einige lokale sagten, der Zug sei noch einfacher, aber wir fanden den Zug einfach genug und sehr schnell. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel jedem, der einen Stadturlaub in Sheffield will.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

Großer Aufenthalt! Zentrale Lage, schneller Spaziergang zu allen städtischen Attraktionen. Zimmer sind sauber, ruhig und Betten extrem komfortable. Das beste Hotel in Sheffield diese Reise. Frühstücksbereich ist großzügig und schmackhaft, Personalfreundlich und professionell. Perfekte Basis für das Besuch von Sheffield, wird zurück.

Room was nice for the price, good water pressure and hot. Room was warm, bed comfy. Would have loved a kettle, and the parking permit they provide is a piece of paper which for my albeit niche position as a motorcyclist meant they just told me, don't worry if you get fined you'll get it cancelled, which is never fun! Also they take card for damage deposit which isn't actually an issue but it isn't notified at booking like nearly all others who do the same which is a bit subversive.

Ich überprüfe die Bewertungen, bevor ich mich hier entscheide zu bleiben. Es ist ein Budget Hotel, aber Parkplatz ist einfach (zusätzliche Kosten) und es gibt einen EV-Ladegerät, das sehr bequem war. Es ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Kino und es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Bit rough round the edges but plenty of charm. A clean and cosy stay all in all. Overnight parking was £10, breakfast was £14.50 the following. Good location to get off and back onto Ring road.

Quiet and well connected location. Good views from the bedroom overlooking the well tendered fields of the nearby facility. Easy access to nearby major motorways. Adequate free parking (need to self-register at check-in). Tired decor but fairly maintained in most part. Safe provided for your valuables. Old style flat screen TV. Shower over bath provides good experience. Massive comfortable bed supporting good sleep experience every night. Bedroom access card was a huge problem at check-in and in-between my stay - I had to return back to reception three times as the card didn't work at check-in! Ended up insisting that the staff seek help as I was not ready to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. I got back another evening and card had stopped working again but staff at reception this time was quite responsive - after one unsuccessful attempt to reactivate the card he immediately went up with me to use a staff card to allow me access back to my bedroom with plan for resolving the card issue thereafter. I am appreciative of his reassuring approach.

Ich würde das nicht als einen guten Aufenthalt betrachten, da ich mehrere Fragen aufgetreten. Erstens war der Eincheckungsprozess ein Problem, da dieses Hotel keine Frontdesk hat. Ich habe Stunden gebraucht, um das Hotel anzurufen, entweder mit ”Line busy” oder ohne Antwort nach einer langen Wartezeit. Wenn es nicht für Trip.com Kundenservice war, der endlich mit dem Hotel verbunden war, hätte ich nicht gewußt, was zu tun. Zweitens war die Holztür in meinem Zimmer schwer zu schließen; es dauerte einen harten Druck und machte einen lauten ”Bang”. Die Glasschleiftür des Dusches war auch problematisch, es fiel auf meinem ersten Ziehen, und ich bin sicher nicht stark genug, eine Tür mit nur einem Ziehen zu brechen. Und schließlich, und am frustrierendsten, war die Situation des Toilettenpapiers. Es war mein erstes Treffen mit einem WC ohne eine Rolle Papier. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, was ich wäre, wenn ich nicht mein eigenes in meinen Taschen gebracht hätte. Auf positivem Hinweis war das Zimmer gut ausgestattet mit einem Kühlschrank, Ofen, Heizung, Toaster und sogar einem Eisen, was darauf hindeutet, dass das Hotel vielleicht ziemlich gut gewesen wäre, wenn die Dinge vor ein paar Jahren gut sind, aber nicht jetzt.

Staff lovely and helpful, my room was clean and had essentials! I would and will be staying there again as I commute to work. Highly recommended this hotel!
