The hotel's location and cleanliness were excellent. The rooms were very large. The staff were helpful and friendly. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that, but a hotel this nice definitely has a good breakfast. If I were to go back, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. It's about a six-minute walk to the center. I look forward to returning. The only thing I didn't like was that we specifically requested a quiet location, away from the elevator. However, they had assigned it directly across from the staff room, and almost every 10 minutes, someone would come in and out, and the door would slam, which started early in the morning. That was the only downside. A hotel I can definitely recommend. Best regards.

We spent 3 nights at the Lansdown Grove. Absolutely lovely stay. All of the staff were amazing. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fine. Clean , a lovely shower and plenty of tea/ coffee. The restaurant is really nice and the food is superb ( particularly the Butter Chicken ). Excellent breakfast. Only downside is the parking charge of £1 a day. Not necessary to charge residents to park. We will return .

Große Verwirrung hinsichtlich der Bettgröße. Ich dachte, ich hätte ein Doppelbett gebucht, da ich die Option mit 2 Einzelbetten auf Ihrer Website ignoriert hatte. Aber am Ende bekam ich ein Zimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Ich verstehe ihren Standpunkt, es war ein Standardzimmer, aber man ließ mich glauben, ich hätte ein Zimmer mit 1 Bett gebucht, obwohl ich davon ausging, dass es ein Doppelbett war. Das Personal im Hinterzimmer reagierte nicht gerade positiv auf mein Problem. Ich konnte sie murmeln hören: „Hätte für ein Doppelbett bezahlen sollen“, obwohl die Rezeptionistin an der Rezeption tat, was sie konnte, aber sagte, dass keine Doppelbetten verfügbar seien.

Das einzige Verbesserungspotenzial besteht beim Frühstück. Erstens wurde kein Speck serviert. Und die Würstchen schmeckten nicht gut. Andere sind gut! Und sie stellen ein Waffeleisen zur Verfügung!

房間其實不錯，挺大的。一個客廳一個卧室，我們這個房間是朝北的，對着大樹和遠處山上的房子。兩扇窗户都可以打開，沒有紗簾，衹有窗簾，但是對面沒有對着的房子其實也還好。
洗手間很乾凈，是典型德國風格的衞浴設施，掛牆的廁所，米色的瓷磚，浴缸淋浴間都很大，水暖的一個熱毛巾架子。簡潔又實用。
設施：房間沒有冰箱，所以在2樓有一個pantry，那邊有冰箱和一些免費的汽水飲料牛奶，還有爆米花，水果。房間有送兩瓶礦泉水，喝完了可以去pantry的過濾水設施那邊裝新的。
衞生：衞生狀況還可以，起碼洗手間打掃的很乾凈。床鋪晚上回來也看到鋪好了，但是衣服不會幫忙疊的，這點和亞洲的酒店不一樣。
服務：酒店的bar非常不錯，一壺茶才4英鎊，早餐也很好吃，不用出去吃早飯。服務人員也很熱情。
地理位置很好的，車站走過來大概10來分鐘，Bath本身很小，所以去哪都很近。
總體來説，是來巴斯的住的很好的選擇，起碼這個酒店不用爬坡。😂

Friendly service; clean room and bathroom.
Nothing wrong with it really except that I was expecting a HOTEL based on the pictures and certainly the price! The location is great but be aware that this an INN with rooms attached at the back. Breakfast not included (costs £15 extra). Location great right in front of the cathedral but no parking. A good, comfortable stay but overpriced fro what it was and the time of year (mid-October).

Vorteile: Wenn Sie das lebhafte Stadtzentrum verlassen und im ersten Stock wohnen, hat der schöne Garten vor dem Fenster eine wirklich entspannte Zeit. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Einrichtungen sind alt, aber komplett und haben ein Vintage-Flair. Frühstücks-Bagel ist ein großes Highlight, verglichen mit dem Standard-Frühstück in anderen britischen Hotels, es ist überraschend lecker. Das Servicepersonal ist auch sehr freundlich und humorvoll und sie scherzen alle mit mir. Nachteile: Mein sogenanntes großes Bett besteht aus zwei Einzelbetten und man kann nicht in der Mitte schlafen.

I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase.

This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later.
The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form.
🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite.
The bed was very comfortable.
❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful.
We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest.
The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss.
One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go.
Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.

GGastnutzerOne of the cheaper hotels that we could find in Bath but it wasn't a budget stay. We booked a double room with a sofa bed and got upgraded to two doubles and a sofa bed so the kids were happy.
All the staff were very professional and nothing was too much trouble. There were complimentary cookies and popcorn on offer.
Location was perfect for the tourist sites of Bath.

GGastnutzerIt was a very special reunion for a group of nurses celebrating 50 years since we started our course in May 1975. In those days this hotel was a nurse's home and we all lived here for around 18 months. We had booked lunch,the food was lovely and the service was amazing. We so enjoyed our stay, 5 of us stayed for one or two nights. So beautiful and peaceful, couldn't have been better. Benice organised things for us, highly recommend her if you are booking an event.

GGastnutzerWir reservierten 2 Nächte für ein entspannendes Spa-Wochenende. Basierend auf der Tatsache, dass es sich um ein Spa-Hotel handelt. Wir planen, für das gesamte Wochenende im Hotel zu bleiben.
Als wir ankamen, wurde uns gesagt, es gab kein Restaurant oder Bar, das wir nur für Veranstaltungen verwenden können.
Wir hatten dann ein Mittagessen im Spa-Café. Das Essen war ok. Der Service war schrecklich.
Wir gingen dann ins Zimmer, als wir inchecken konnten. Der Reiniger war noch da. Sehr entschuldigend sehr freundlich und wunderschön. Das Zimmer war absolut wunderschön. Großes Schlafzimmer Badezimmer und Wohnzimmer.
Wir gingen raus und fanden ein Pub fürs Essen. Als wir zurückkehrten, um in dem Zimmer zu entspannen, fanden wir die Party direkt unter uns und in voller Schwung. Sehr laut und laut und das Rauchen war direkt außerhalb unseres Fensters. Wir riefen Rezeption, aber sie wurden vollständig reserviert. Ich freue mich, es alles um Mitternacht zu sagen.
Wir gingen zum Frühstück bei 9.30. Nicht viel übrig und das gesamte Frühstück war kalt. Als wir es fragten, wir wurden gerade gesagt“gut es ist seit 7” es hatte gerade auf der Seite in Silber-Taschen für 2.5 Stunden sitzen, keine Heizung oder Option zum Wiederheizen. Es war nicht essend.
Wir haben das Frühstück überschritten, das wir am zweiten Tag bezahlt haben.
Wir dachten, wir würden etwas Zeit im Spa verbringen. Ha! Nun ist der Pool klein, kein Ort, um nur ein paar Kunststoffstühle zu entspannen, keine Spa überhaupt. Es hatte eine sehr kleine Sauna und Dampfraum. Der Jacuzzi funktionierte nicht, es war nur ein Pool von wolkenfreiem Wasser mit wenigen Blasen.
Es scheint, als wäre es gewöhnt und könnte ein wunderbarer Ort zu sein, aber er wurde übernommen und verloren seine einzige. So schämlich wie das Gebäude und die Boden sind wunderbar.
Ich muss die Reinigungspersonal hinzufügen und die Lady auf der Rezeption waren wunderbar, willkommen und freundlich.

GGastnutzerAmazing value for money; simple selections of food, compact no frills chalets: could do with a bit of attention to detail with deep cleaning; decent bedding and towels, fantastic and varied entertainment generally throughout the day and late into the evening; most acts are really good. Nice to be able to set up to work remotely in the ballroom during the day and take in the fun that holiday makers are having. The Blue Coats are an engaging team. Drink prices are OK for a setting like this. We are 53 and 58 and on the younger scale of most holiday makers but whatever age, this adult only holiday park delivers quality for money hands down. Bus travels from the road outside the site to Weston Super Mare hourly during the day; beach is just a walk away down the site entrance. Taxi's are affordable if a comfi trip into town is wanted. Can imagine how amazing this establishment will be in summer (and they don't seem to hike the prices to eye watering levels during the warmer months). The range of themed weekday stays (4 days Mon-Fri) and weekend (Fri-Mon) are varied. We need to be in the WSM area for a couple of months - staying at various hotels / establishments, but now we have found Sand Bay, we have chosen to book here for several weeks back to back. For that reason, we have brought our own bedding with us, to personalise our chalet and make it more homely for our extended stay. Reception team are generally welcoming and efficient and Jade the holiday booking team member is ever so helpful. Well done Sand Bay!

TTimo KaleviNice hotel just outside of the City. You can wall to The City centre in 15 mins and it is strongly recommeded. Hotel staff is very helpful and they seem to be in good mood. We stayed for 3 nights and definetely come Back to this hotel when coming to Bath.
