Our stay was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore everything Chester has to offer, and the hotel itself is both comfortable and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, well presented, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the service, we found the staff to be incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The little touches throughout our stay made it extra special, and we left feeling refreshed and very well looked after. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chester.

I had a good stay with my girlfriend at The Tytherington. The only thing we were unhappy with was the food. It took about 1 hour to receive our food, and we were also told different information about the Kitchen closure time. Likely, we could give our order on time, but someone who was served after us was not able to. It seemed that on the day we visited, the kitchen staff was either short-staffed or had other issues. The staff behind the counter looked inexperienced, with only 1 or 2 who knew what to do, though they had too much to do already and couldn't assist. The view from their garden was great, over their golf pitch.

An der Rezeption kamen 30 Minuten, warten, viele Leute, die versuchten, zu buchen, und nur zwei Rezeptionisten auf dem Büro, und einer dieser befanden sich mit Problemen. Das zerstört den Anfang zu unserem Pauschal. Nachdem wir in unser Zimmer angekommen waren, das über dem Restaurant war, fanden wir das Zimmer 4133 mit Vener auf dem Schrankenschrank aus. Das hätten wir nicht von den Bewertungen erwartet, die wir gelesen hatten. Bezug auf den Freizeit-Komplex Schwimmbad. Das war sauber, aber wir fanden keine Anweisungen, wie man die Lockers betreibt und musste warten, bis jemand in die Stadt kam. Das Frühstück und die Bar sind ausgezeichnet. Allgemein sehr enttäuscht.

Stayed here twice before and was satisfied with experience.  Unfortunately, this time, I had to change the room as the curtains were falling down and wouldn’t close.  The replacement room they gave me smelled of sweat and wee.   Other than that the hotel is nice and reasonably priced.  Parking is good.  Cleaning needs to be prioritised to improve the experience

The location of this hotel is great, very close to Chester and all the attractions around. In terms of the room, our room was very spacious and the bed was very big. However it was two singles joined together, so a gap between the two. This is probably where the good bits end. The size of the room and bathroom really was a positive though, especially travelling with a baby. We had to pay £5 to hire a travel cot and in the end we didn’t use it. The cot mattress appears to have never been replace and was very thin and lumpy, making it redundant. The wooden slates at the bottom of the crib could be felt very dominantly through what was left of the mattress, meaning our baby was waking up uncomfortable and we had to transfer him to the bed. In terms of things that could do with improvement: Cleanliness The room floor was very dirty and could have benefited from an additional vacuum. Initially I put this down to arriving on New Year’s Day and then having a lot of people check out that day, but the whole hotel appeared a little bit grubby on closer inspection. The spa pool was exceptionally dirty. The floor coming out of the changing room covered in hair and general dirt. The showers looked like they hadn’t had a good scrub in months, with yellow build up all over the floor and walls. Not what you expect from a spa! To top it off after swimming I have contracted the Norovirus. Service Our first encounter with the reception staff was great the lady very welcoming and friendly. We met the cleaner as well who was also lovely. The rest of the staff we encountered were not so great. Either rude or disinterested, I get that it might not be your dream job but service with a smile goes a long way. Facilities The hot water takes a while to come through at busier times, this is signposted in the room. However, the water does not get very water at all. It does come through at a pleasant temperature, but not great if you like a bath or shower on the warmer side. There are three times a day when you can go swimming with children. It would be great if these times were restricted to children/families only, as there were quite a few adults sitting around the poolside and in the hot tub. Breakfast was ok, but a lot of the time left uncovered. Overall not a great stay and would be unlikely to stay again.

Zum 2. Mal am Portal. Zimmer sind großartig, Champions Golfplatz sehr gut (auch im nassen/schmutzigen Boden). Das Hotel ist mit einem guten Frühstück im Restaurant und einem guten Blick.

Es muss mehr Lebensmittelwahl geben. Wartung IE-Änderungen oder Reparaturen an Türen oder Strahlern sollten nicht befördert werden, während die Gäste entspannen, arbeiten oder spät schlafen. In 2 Fällen Wartungspersonal arbeitete mehrere Stunden ruinieren meinen Aufenthalt. Sehr sehr laut.

Hotel lovely , room was ok twin quiet small but adequate, nice walk in shower , breakfast was nice and hot good selection, really nice golf course which i Played photos attached

I took my wife here for her 60th, amazing staff receptionist charlotte was warm and knowledgable, very kind giving us a token due to birthday. The infinity pool is amazing warm clean, Shrigley would make much more money if they served drinks while in the pool, but we would still be there now. The rooms are adiquate they are clean, the shower's are amazing, Dinning for evenning meal again was excellent, the service is 11/10 and I have been in a number of Spa the meal cost were really well priced with excellent food. Breakfast in the morning self service again pleanty to choose from and again tasty with great choice. It is a amazing spa with the ability toplay gold or have a number of treatments, and well priced, I will return there

Das Hotel befindet sich sicherlich in der ersten Lage des Stadtzentrums mit einfachem Zugang zu allen schönen Cafés und Restaurants. Warrington besucht während des Wochenendes Creamfields und deshalb war das Hotel überpreis als üblich. Reine Handtücher wurden bereitgestellt, aber es gab keine Einrichtungen wie die Zahnpasta oder Baumwollpasten, so stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie Ihre eigene Packung. Kein ergänzendes Flaschenwasser, musste sie von dem Restaurant unten kaufen. Gut für kurze Aufenthaltszeit.
