My first stay at a Hampton again, since 19 years ago, when I stayed at the Hampton in Manhattan, New York City, New York.
Staying at the Hampton in Zibo, Shandong was truly a most pleasant experience.
Upon entering the foyer, we were well received by all staff present. We were politely greeted in English, and Ailsa assisted us with a prompt check in process.
The facilities are well kept, and the Hotel is as good as new. Infact, it's one of the newest Hotels in Zibo, and everything is in immaculate order.
We booked and stayed in one of the suites, and found the suite to be fairly spacious and well equipped.
The bed is extremly comfortable, from the mattress itself, to the bedding.
Breakfast at the "Hampton Restaurant" was excellent, as they have a huge variety of tasty dishes available.
There are"Friendly staff" at the restaurant, and the facilities are immaculate.
General Suggestions:
I would suggest that the Hampton, provide additional drinking water. As they provided 2x bottles per room, per day, whereas the other hotels generally provide, at least 4x bottles per room, per day.
Furthermore, I would suggest that the Hampton provide at least 2x rolls of toilet paper per day, as currently, only 1x roll is provided, per day (neighbouring hotels provide 2x rolls of toilet paper per day).
(I doubt that there would be a significant cost implication in this regard).
Note: There is a vending machine downstairs, which is convenient, should you require drinks or snacks.
Other than these suggestions, we found the overall experience to be most pleasant.
The checkout process was prompt and the staff at the front desk, were friendly and efficient.
We can recommend the Hampton Hotel in Zibo, to all travellers, foreign, and domestic.
