Margarita Hotel - All Inclusive

We booked this as a couple and while we have young children they did not come. There is limited entertainment other than the pool for kids. We think a lot of the mixed reviews are down to not having expectations managed for what is advertised as all-inclusive. I think if it was stated as full-board, it would be more accurate. The main thing to remember is this is what appears to be a small business or family owned company. It is not a massive chain with crazy millions coming in. We noticed a few odd things but first focusing on the positives: wonderful customer service. Treat people as you want to be treated and I think a lot of the comments of rudeness would not be on here. exceptionally clean. We had no issues other than one glass that was dirty and quickly replaced with an apology. The rooms, common areas, and pools are very tidy. get the upgrade if you can. the upgraded rooms for couples are worth it. comfier beds, nicer furnishings, and great views. very good food. The variety was a little unexpected but on the whole the food was a very high standard and the kitchen staff no doubt work hard. Always a sunbed available. We never struggled to get a sun lounger at any time of day. That was wonderfully refreshing. Vici The family pool bar guy is a blast and very friendly to everyone. If you try to do something silly like ask for 6 beers and you are on your own he will tell you off (and they were all for one person). The way I look at it is they want to keep everyone getting served and not get backed up by that one person who decides to request 2 hours of drinks in a single go. The bits if you know up front about are either making you not their target demographic or won't be a big deal. Not a party hotel. It is not for you if drinking is a professional sport and staying up late is what you are wanting to do. There are loads of places you can get that done this isn't one of them. You will be hard-pressed to get drunk on the beer. No pool towels. I brought mine but my partner didn't expecting that to be part of an all-inclusive. There is a shop in the hotel to buy one for 10-20 euro. No olives. We were a little surprised there were no olives. No margaritas. It is in the hotel name, so why there is no margarita option is odd. Entertainment is limited. The board does get updated. We weren't there for the entertainment though. Had we brought children then it would have been nice to see some sort of daytime or evening activities for them besides the pool and outdoor amenities. loo roll is not for the toilet. It is a country problem and not the hotel. This is what surprised me most. I understand it is because the sewage drains do not have enough size and get clogged. The messages are stern, and not put everywhere. If those signs explained why it is a problem a little better that would help people not feel like they are being told off. Stayed here with a friend during October. Check in was quick. We were given a room in one of the separate blocks. Unfortunately there was no life and we were on the 1st floor. No offer of anyone carrying our cases up 2 flights of stairs. Not good for disabled guests as I only saw 1 ramp in main hotel and nine for the other blocks. Room was nice and spacious but there was a smell from drain in the bathroom. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard. Pool areas were lovely with a choice of 3 different pools including an adult pool. Pool bar was situated by the main family pool. This served burger/hit dogs chips and freshly made rolls. Drinks in hotel are if a poor standard. All local makes of limited spirits, and also soft drinks. The wines were not good either and only 2 cocktails were offered. Please also note you cannot have spirits until 4pm !. Not what I expect from all inclusive. Food....the choice of food was limited. There was always something to eat but not your normal choice of all inclusive. Puddings most days consisted of apples jelly rice pudding, think there was cake one day. Not sure if they were limited choices due to the hotel closing the middle of October. Also noticed a few staff coming from the back and standing and filling their plates, didnt look professional at all. Entertainment was ok, Abba were probably the best with a couple of singers on that week. There is a shop just outside the hotel which was very good and sold a good variety at decent prices. Managed to get a decent alcoholic drink from there. I would definitely not recommend going all inclusive to this hotel. It is in a good location, only 5-10 minutes walk to the strip. Most bars were shutting down by 10th October so if you were expecting lively nightlife I wouldn't go in October.

Have just returned from 10 night stay at this hotel and what a lovely time we had. All the staff were friendly welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. We had a double room with a private pool and it was lovely to have that but we spent most of the time by the larger pool where the pool bar is. Our room was a lovely big room and very private and the housekeeping staff kept them exceptionally clean. I really enjoyed the food there was always a good selection and loved trying different dishes. My hubby and I will certainly be coming back to stay again.

Just come back from a lovely 2 week stay, the hotel is nice and clean, always plenty of sunbeds available , the team who work there are helpful and friendly especially the lady who worked behind the bar at night, it's in the prefect location to get to the centre , food was nice we found something we liked, my only complaint would be that the rooms could do with better soundproofing, especially when there is a baby 4 doors down, we loved the 3am wake up calls

The food was incredible! Fresh, tasty and a lot of choice, t was cooked to perfection every meal time. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The rooms were outstanding. Everything was absolutely perfect. Such a quiet and gorgeous location. Everything in walking distance without the hustle and bustle.

Just back from Margarita myself and daughter in law fantastic hotel . Room was lovely in main hotel cleaned every day by a lovely maid. Food was nice always something to eat there salads were lovely and the day banoffee pie was on yummy. Entertainment was ok the Diva show was excellent and there was a couple of good singers staff all lovely shout out to the barmaid at night my she was quick and the pool bar guy and lady who made the snacks . If you go get a massage the lady is great and so reasonable 15€ for back and neck if you are a cat ****** you’ll love this hotel the family of cats are gorgeous all in all a great week in a lovely hotel with lovely staff .
