Super 8 by Wyndham Grand Rapids/Wyoming

I was in town for a funeral and didn't have another quick option or I would have left immediately. Sheets and towels were stained, hair on the bathroom floor, needed to be vacuumed, air didn't cool the room, door didn't lock, NO BREAKFAST, rude staff. Don't expect a hair dryer or coffee pot in your toom. They don't exist. The bed was a rock. The whole experience was awful.

Dirty floors, dirty bathroom, trash left over from previous guest, pink/purple long hair on bathroom floor (piles of it) and in the sink, no towels provided, bedding yellow and stained. Never staying at a Super 8 again.

Unless you're trying to score some dope or Ho's do NOT book or stay here. Room and hotel is run down - furniture, TV didn't even have a power cord, furniture was beaten up. Pillows looked like something you'd find in prison or under a bridge.

No shower curtain, burn holes in bedding, dirty, no towels. Facility needs to be updated and cleaned. They need to take care of their guests and not just in taking their money. Huge disappointment for my Husband and I.

This hotel is a ---- hole and I'm glad I'm here by myself. I would never stay here with my family. The sheets looked like they haven't changed them or they have permanent stains on them. I went into the bathroom and the ice bucket looks like they had spaghetti stains in it. Who knows what is on the carpet and they is one wooden chair in the room to sit in. If it wasn't to late, I would ask for my money back and go to another hotel. The company should be made aware of this hotel

This is one of the nastiest places had stayed in a very long time. There were cuum stains on the sheets, $*!t on the bathroom wall and all over the toilet, actual debris on the floor, smelled like mildew, stains EVERYWHERE on the walls (some of them, maybe, blood), and hair all over the shower walls. I literally slept with a spare tshirt over the pillow and on top of the covers just to feel some sort of cleanliness. Also, there was someone living in the parking lot that seemed to be casing the joint for cars to rob. This place needs some serious attention. I'm aware that super 8 isn't some top notch spot... but, I've stayed at many and this one makes an embarassment out of all of the (probably 30 or so) I've stayed in. If I could give this place a negative star rating it would be a solid -2. No bugs in the room I stayed in, thankfully.

Do not stay here. The staff, who I assume are the owners will ignore you. The rooms have not been clean in months. It should be shut down due to health violations. They advertise breakfast which is a joke, there is no food to be found anywhere, not that you would want to eat anything in a 10 mile radius of this hotel. Our hotel door was open when we got there, dirty bar soap left in the shower, along with other unidentified smears in the bathrooms. No towels provided for showers or hand washing. Lights broken. Toothpaste spit on the mirrors. Phone in the room was not connected to anything.. there was no cord.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS hotel. The most disgusting place I have ever seen. Dirty floors, holes and stains on the sheets and comforter. Bathroom was disgusting and toilet has hairs on it. No trash cans. This place should be condemned. Cheap rates, but I wouldn't stay here again for free. Absolutely disgusting

Where do I start! We decided to take a trip to the GR area to see the lights over at Comstock Park. I reserved the room at the Super8 because I wanted a jacuzzi room. I then started seeing all the bad reviews, I came close to cancelling the room and going somewhere else. However, after seeing the comments from the "Owner" about issues being addressed and it only being a night I figured we would give it a chance. This was the BIGGEST mistake ever. We got there at 1pm, went in and seen if we could check in yet. The gentleman working the front was friendly, he checked and the room was ready. So he checked me in. For being non smoking the place smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. We went and grabbed something to eat and came back. We unloaded our things and our 2 year old toddler. As soon as we walked in the room, it was freezing (116). My boyfriend went to use the bathroom when we noticed the bathroom door was broke and wouldn't shut properly without being pushed in from the outside. Me always checking things out, noticed a beer can behind the microwave with cigarette butts in it. There was no place to sit except the bed. Then noticed the bed had hair all over it, the blankets on top were stained and had burns all in them. I attempted to turn on the heater and it wasn't coming on. I decided to unplug it since the reset wasn't working and found the outlet was burnt! This was a serious issue! At this point I went to the front desk, I showed the young man the issue and he asked if I would like a suite. I was already here, wanted the jacuzzi room, but I would settle. He moved us from first floor to third floor. With toddler in hand and out belongings we took the stairs to the third floor. I opened the door to room 302 I believe it was. This room looked a lot better, but it wasn't even CLEANED. The bed was a mess, trash was over flowing the trash can, stuff was in the bathroom. I walked back out, at this point my boyfriend took our son and went to the car. I grabbed the remaining items we had and followed. I went back to the front desk, informed the gentleman I just wanted my money back we would go elsewhere. A lady that had been previously vacuuming was super friendly, she kept trying to get me to just move to another room. I had already looked at 2 and with a cranky toddler now mom getting cranky I wasn't interested. I was refunded and we left. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The owner keeps coming on here talking about how they have improved and how they want people to give them a second chance, all I can say is lies lies and more lies. If you don't mind smelling cigarette smoke, having outlets that look like they're about to catch fire, someone else's filth while you sleep, then be my guest and enjoy a wonderful night at the Super8 on 44th Street. The jacuzzi room was $126... We decided to go to the normal place we go, a lot cleaner, no jacuzzi in our room, however, it smelled fabulous and it was $10 cheaper. If you
