The position off the Hotel is excellent next to the river and car park. The hotel was excellently furnished and very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was perfect. Compliments to the chef and staff. We definitely will stay again.

3rd visit to this lovely hotel- and it doesn’t disappoint!!! Room upgrade because of the flood water- great view over river - beautiful apartment so clean and warm- loads of hot water and fluffy towels🙂breakfast delicious- staff all friendly and helpful! We will be back 🙂

We held a ‘special’ birthday party at Browns and it was fabulous. Richard and his team looked after us so well, the buffet was tasty and plentiful and very much enjoyed by our guests. Bar staff were knowledgeable and friendly and waiting staff efficient and helpful.

We were greeted by complimentary prosecco which was a lovely touch. Room 101 looked amazing when we arrived, really presented well. The view of the river out the windows was lovely, as was hearing the cathedral bells! First impressions were so good. Also, it was a nice touch to have complimentary dressing gowns. Whilst the room was clean, there were areas of the bathroom which didn't look as though as much attention had been given. A few areas of the carpet in the room were also slightly stained. The shower was also slightly awkward to operate. Overall, the bathroom felt a little more tired than the bedroom. Unfortunately we had a bit of an issue that we didn't discover until going to sleep, there seemed to be a problem with the window next to the bed, possibly with a broken seal, as the wind made it vibrate loudly and whistle all through the night. As we only discovered this when going to sleep, we weren't able to bring it to the attention of the staff. The breakfast was amazing, such a varied choice and absolutely delicious. Cannot fault the breakfast or the presentation. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. The room was really nice, but just feel some areas needed a bit more attention to make it even better.

Good location by the river, in the city centre and next to a public carpark where there were plenty of spaces even midmorning on a dry Saturday. Friendly staff. Small but nicely done rooms, only one tiny issue - that there isn't a socket near a mirror so it's hard to dry or style your hair. Breakfast was not buffet style but was from a menu with lots of choice and generous portions. Very efficient and friendly service. We would definitely stay again

We had an excellent stay at Browns. Can’t fault the place and the staff were 110%. Breakfast was out of this world and all for a reasonable price. Room was super clean and everything to hand, bed was also really comfy. Will definitely be back in future.

Stayed here when en route to Cardiff on a lovely summers day Stayed on Monday night, which was unfortunate as the restaurant was closed so no outdoor seating other than a very small terrace off the bar A very small lift to get you to upper floors Comfortable, bed and linen Decent lighting Nice seating area Very blingy room, lots of mirrored and glass furniture, plush soft furnishings. Room with a river view, but not as advertised on website had to stand up and look out the window to see small part of the river No Aircon in room, but fan was provided Breakfast was free and very nice. Waitress was very friendly. Public car park adjacent to hotel. No specific hotel parking Nice location for walks along the river and into town Went to Diglis hotel for drinks in their garden overlooking the river as Browns we felt like an inconvenience to get a drink in their bar.

We arrived after a 4 and half journey and the staff were amazing especially Sam.Customer service was outstanding the bar is normally closed on Monday but the team were more than helpful with cases and cared about our stay .thanks we will come back ❤️

We had our wedding reception at Browns and stayed in the apartment for our honeymoon. The service we received from Eva and Mia throughout our wedding meal was superb. The ladies were professional and attentive to everyone. The apartment is fantastic overlooking the River Seven. So relaxing. Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day special at Browns.
