This was my eighth stay at this hotel and let me just say it will be my last. I booked a ten night stay through the Hampton Inn Reservation line. Explaining that since we were staying for a longer period of time, I wanted to book the one bedroom suite. The reservationist understood but had to book us under two reservations because the one bedroom suite was not available for one night. Fine. Upon checkin, I confirmed with the front desk clerk that we were booked thru Thursday night in the suite and then had to move rooms on Friday. She said yes. Two days later, I asked another front desk clerk to please confirm we needed to move rooms for Friday night. She reviewed our reservation and confirmed yes. Imagine my shock, when as I am walking thru the lobby at 11AM Thursday morning and the front desk clerk nonchalantly says to me - they do not have us booked for that evening. They expect that we will leave the hotel for one night and then come back for our stay the following night!?! WHAT!?!? To make matters worse - they have no rooms and we have two hours to vacate our room. I was in shock. Absolute shock. We had nowhere to go!!! Speaking with the manager only made matters worse - after explaining the situation, he gaslit me stating that I, the customer, was responsible for their error for not reviewing the confirmation of reservation closely enough. No ownership of the reservation specialist or his THREE staff members that reviewed our reservations and never once called attention to the error. I have never, ever, been treated so poorly by a hotel and will absolutely never stay here again. Beyond thankful for the staff at the Marriott in Redmond Towne Center who went above and beyond to find us a room and were appalled by how we were treated by this hotel staff. We are taking this to corporate on Monday to ensure staff are held accountable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
