Hotel itself was ok, the usual Premier Inn rooms and bed standards. Two major downside for us: Breakfast was terrible. We had booked it, but on arrival in the morning, there was no pastries, no pain au chocolates or croissants. And no fruit juices. I asked to be told they were 'out of stock'. There was basically just toast. Not what you expect for the cost! Just as we finished the toast, a lady filled up the apple juice. I asked her if there were actually pastries too about to come out and she said no... Hot breakfast wise, there was no eggs or sausages. Just bacon and soggy mushrooms. Worst premier inn breakfast ever, and no hint of a refund for the lack of items. Really disappointing when you expect to be able to fill up for your money. Sadly no carpark, we used the one suggested on their website which is over in the shopping call. Would have been reasonably close, but the carpark is enormous and we had no way of knowing when inside if we were in the correct location for the side the hotel was. Ended up taking about 20 minutes to get out of the shopping centre on foot, find the exit from the Mall and then get to the hotel with our luggage too... carpark claims to have 24hour access but it was hard to find a way out when we arrived at 9pm. Fairly reasonable £20 for the whole 24hours. Lots of building work going on locally, so what should have then been a quick trip over the road to the shops/hotel ended up being a big loop all the way around the back of the hotel, some warning of this would have been appreciated.
