Quality Inn Winslow I-40

Overall I liked this hotel but there was no blanket on the bed and was pretty cold. Also the shower was either very hot or too cold, that was strange for a hotel. The breakfast was ok but not great, not a big selection. There were microwave burritos, but no microwave in the breakfast area. The pancake machine was cool and the pancakes were good but it needed fixing many times in the time I was in there. There was cereal and apples, muffins, juice and coffee. Was enough but would like a little more selection, and yogurt would have been nice. The room was roomy with a little couch and desk. The tv was large and had the Vizio streaming and a dish box and remote was there but did not seem to work. I liked the location sort of off the beaten path.

This is a legitimately nice hotel, and for price it’s even better. Really clean and quiet! They are currently undergoing some renovations but the only “mess” was just a little bit of debris on the stairs. The pool looked nice but I didn’t use it. Front desk seemed friendly and helpful.

As you can tell from the picture, this is a Quality Inn, not an Econolodge (same parent company). I believe there is an Econolodge elsewhere in Winslow, but the property at 2035 West Third St. is a Quality Inn. Anyway, I truly cannot understand the poor reviews I read elsewhere. This place is clean, with well-lit interior corridors and secure entrances (key card entry). The room had plenty of towels, comfortable beds, and decent lighting. Front desk personnel were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was similar to other Choice hotel brand offerings: hot waffles, sausage/egg breakfast burritos, yogurt, milk, cereal, fresh fruit, coffee, orange and apple juice, etc. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well-maintained. We slept well and checked out with full tummies. Would definitely recommend -- Good value for the price. One thing to note: while we were checking in, a gentleman approached the front desk for help with his TV. Apparently, he was having trouble getting a signal, but it turned out that all he needed to do was use the remote to make sure the TV was on the correct input setting. Haven't run across that in other hotel/motel stays, and we didn't have any issue with the TV in our room. Just thought I'd mention it, in case anyone else has the same issue.

TV is satellite and has no reception. I stopped here to watch a playoff game so basically this place stole my money. ALSO the bath water was tepid..NOT HOT AT ALL. The owners save money by not heating the bath water..avaricious generates most likely

This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had. The front desk employee and manager were rude and difficult. They advertise breakfast but that is a lie. This is by far the worst I have ever been treated.

My family stayed here while driving across the country. We just needed a place to sleep for one night. It was nice and would stay here again. I wasn’t sure because if the mixed reviews but decided to go for it. It was definitely worth it for the price.

This Hotel is very new and very clean . A friendly welcome . Nice and spacious Room with fast Internet . A fair Price and i was highly satiesfied . It is located next to the Highway , but it is not noisy at all . A good Bed for a good Sleep

we were on 1-40 and we saw this sign, I am a memeber of this club. We pulled in and the place looked like a tornadoes hit . We are in our 80s and we have been traveling all day, ,I must say that the Manger was excelent, and gave us the last room. the hotel must of been under construction. the room was passable, but looked like it has been used before, As I said we are old we took it and ordered a pizza. the manager helped us with the tv. her name was Danica- SHE WAS GREAT- this is not about her, she helped out an old couple I am handicap by the way...

My husband and I booked a stay here. As we arrived the place looked nice. So we proceed to go inside. Just outside the entrance door there was this Mexican lady on her cell phone talking loudly to where everyone could hear her conversation. So we go in and there is a guy in front of us. So we wait then 2 more ppl came in to check in. This lady was the front desk lady and (this kills me to say this) she comes in to the lobby tells all of us exhausted customers she will be back in, in 5 mins. And then goes back outside to talk on the phone. Now here come 2 more ppl and then 2 more ppl and then the lobby had about 10 ppl inside waiting for this lady to get off the phone. If I was the boss and saw a lobby full of customers and my front desk lady is outside on her phone.....she would've been fired on the spot. After about 7 mins this lady comes back inside as we all stand there staring at her and she helps the guy in front of us. Then we were next. I give her my ID and then she proceeds to pick up her cell phone again and text someone instead of checking us in. I was so upset. So after checking in we go and park. As we walk into the entrance we discover this hotel is under full renovation. No signs that say ease excuse our mess nothing. It was dust and filthy. So we go to our room open the door and the whole room is coved in drywall and paint all over the floor. On top of it all inside the bathroom my husband went to take a shower and pulled the handle for the shower and the whole unit inside the wall moved. The bathroom shower curtain was not put on correctly so the shower curtain didn't close properly getting water all over the floor. You couldn't even walk bare foot inside this room. There was a half ripped screen on our window so we couldn't open the window. And after we checked out the next day the girl upfront didn't even ask how our stay was. We said we were checking out and that was it from her. This place should be closed during renovations cuz the rooms are filthy. People who are sensitive to that stuff can have breathing problems or get sick. And on top of the poor customer service as u walk down the long hallway on the first floor look up at the ceiling.....it looks like waves. Ceiling tiles broken it looked like a hotel from a scary movie. So if the hotel reads this. June 5th you had a young Mexican lady working you should fire her. And get yourself staff that will actually do their job not talk on the phone outside and tell customers she ll be in, in 5 mins. I don't care what u got going on that is a business and your there to do your job. Personal life stuff should be dealt with after work. Very poor customer service and dirty dirty hotel
