Town House Motel

Room was decent but not as pictures are showing. Those must have been taken years ago. WiFi was useless unless you were right next the to router by the office. Just needed a place to sleep for a half way stopping point from driving. Ice machine was not working either.

Old motel with well maintained rooms. Okay, it's basic, but the room was spotless, good wifi, everything worked, furniture is in decent shape with table, chairs, and a/c that kept room cool in 100+ degrees. Bed a little soft, but comfy. No pool (dry pit), and ice machine is essentially useless. Adamant about 3p check-in, nothing earlier! I've tried 7 different budget motels here over the years and this is one I'd return to for the value and quietness. Good location with a mini-market/gas station and coffee house with in a block. Staff is strictly business, but decent.

Most important thing to me in choosing lodgings is cleanliness and safety. The townhouse motel checked both of those boxes. Our stay there actually was very nice… BUT… After we left, I was charged $50. I called the motel and they said they would get back to me. I called every day for almost a week. They still kept putting me off. They said the manager would call me. They never did. ********** got involved, and they could not reach the manager either. Then I was told that the manager had taken care of it, which they have not. It has now been one month, and now when I call they don’t answer. We did not have any pets, we did not steal anything (I had asked if this is why they had charged me $50 because they thought we stole 2 towels. There were NO bath towels in our room. I went to the front office the next morning to get bath towels but they did not answer the door ). We did not check out late, we did not trash the place, we did not break anything. We travel across Nevada regularly, and I originally had thought that we would stay in the townhouse motel again, but never again. I left a review on ********** and tried to edit it after I learned of this charge and their refusal to do anything about it, but they won’t let me edit it. I wonder how many people have been scammed by the townhouse motel?

This hotel advertises 24hr front desk. We arrived late at night, front door was locked, rang both doorbells several times, no answer, place was completely dark inside. Called the listed business phone number and got a recording to leave message. Disappointed- chose this hotel based on the reviews. Had to stay at EconoLodge nearby-it was disgusting.

A clean, basic, comfortable, and well-located motel. Old-school in a good way. Park next to your room. I had a quiet & comfortable night. Theresa at the reception desk was very welcoming. A convenient place from which to explore Winnemucca, which is a fun town. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants & saloons if you want to. I’ll stay here again.

Run down and not clean. Bathroom smells of cigarettes. Bed not comfortable. Hole in bathroom door. Some furniture has seen better days. Carpet soiled. Freezer compartment disgusting with who knows what is frozen inside. I won't stay here again.

This is a very small operation run by one person. We stayed 2 years ago and had issues with the heater not turning off. But my main complaint is that they have recently re-charged us for a stay! The owner refuses to return my calls, and the only person running the place can't help at all, and has even hung up on me. Beware of this place!

Stayed here one night for a cross country trip. Hotel was nice enough, cost $84, charged on the day we stayed there. However, 2 days later, after we left and were in a different state, they charged us $99 extra. Called and asked what the charge was for and the receptionist or manager, she wouldnt give me her name, said I was harassing her for simply asking what the new charge was for. I was not rude, only asked what the charge was for. Was told the owner was in California and they were waiting for him to get back. Then they hung up on me. Don't stay here, they'll over charge you. Horrible service.

A great affordable place to stay. My wife and I like quaint and unique places to stay when traveling. The rooms were clean, bed comfy, and staff were super friendly and courteous. They also referred us to some wonderful places to eat dinner and breakfast.
