Gordon House

Gordon House is a great example of a B&B, very welcoming host, great location, elegantly decorated and comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean from top to bottom. The breakfast is also top drawer, freshly cooked using quality ingredients. A super little 6 room B&B, Definitely my first port of call when I return to the Wimborne area.

Great clean lovely guest house… everything else around here is sooo expensive, but I found this little gem..very pleased with myself.. Loren sounds lovely and I trust the breakfast will be as good as everything I’ve experienced so far. I would definitely recommend this guest house as a cheap and welcoming stopover or longer stay for anyone

This is an absolute gem. The room was superb. Large and extremely well furnished. Spotlessly clean. The power shower was exceptional. All in all 5 star quality. Breakfast was delicious. Freshly cooked. Loren, who met us at breakfast, was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The guesthouse is only a short walk away from the Minster and town centre. Cannot recommend this [p[lace highly enough. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

This was my second stay at Gordon House which was convenient for my visit the following day to 'Windows on wildlife' where I was spending a half day photographing birds with Dean Mason. The property has limited parking (but there is also free on street parking from 6pm to 8am) and is conveniently located in the centre of Wimborne Minster, within easy walking distance of local pubs and restaurants and the Minster. I stayed in a comfortable double room with a double bed, desk, good sized bathroom with shower tea and coffee facilities, TV screen and a small settee and chair. Everything was immaculate in terms of decor and cleanliness. Breakfast was a traditional full English breakfast with cereals and fruit juice. Anne, the host could not have been more friendly and welcoming. I paid £75 for my double room bed and breakfast and Anne asks for cash payments or bank transfers rather than a credit card. I would stay again - and probably will!

We were recommended by friends who have stayed here previously, we were not disappointed. We were greeted by the host who is a very charming lady. Accommodation was clean with a very good decor our double bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning with plenty of choice if you are not a “fry up” person 😋. It’s a 5 minute walk into the town centre, I would not hesitate in recommending this establishment and can’t wait to visit again when visiting our friends.

Fantastic all round quality accommodation & perfect service provided by very friendly and welcoming host. Central location, very close to the Theatre and other main attractions in Wimborne. Lovely full English breakfast, tea and coffee and convenient parking. Highly recommended.

Very nice room, immaculately clean bedding & towels and plenty of space with a desk to work from. The bathroom was immaculate and walk in power shower was a nice change ftom some other b&b's I've stayed in. Lovely full English breakfast cooked fresh to order. The owner was very friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay for work or holidays. I will definitely book again and will reccomend to work colleagues.
