Courtyard Philadelphia Willow Grove

A short night stay. Fair room and hygiene. But at a relatively high price at this quality.

Rooms were clean, big parking lot area. Restaurants are within walking distance. I like that they have a Starbucks in the hotel too as well as a patio in the back for walking. Staff was friendly and welcoming. No complaints. No bugs or odor noted either.

The problem is the Managers do NOT do their jobs. Consequently, you have dirty rooms, dirty hallways, broken exercise equipment, problems that are not resolved and outside of a polite front desk staff, This is a NO recommend. You are forewarned your experience here will not be a quality stay, like a Marriott should.

I have stayed here many times in the past, however, this place has gone downhill fast. I would've given it three stars before but now it's either one or a zero. Fitness room equipment is not great. Some of it is broken and I have attached pictures. The entrance door that takes you inside the fitness center is broken. You could cut your hand trying to get in (attached pictures) and the worst part of it is it's been like that for more than eight months. I took pictures eight months ago then I took pictures about four months ago and I took pictures today and it's still the same. I've told Management about this and they said they're on it but nothing has changed. One of the ladies at the front desk told me that they have been telling upper management about these problems but they won't do anything. They were sheets with Blood on the first day. I stayed there. They did change them after I reported it but it's still pretty gross. I won't be staying here again. Worst part is, I called to speak to the general manager, and I was told that the assistant GM Ms. Yelitza Koto was going to call me. I never heard from her.

We booked this hotel for my son’s wedding with a group rate & our family and friends booked 15 rooms. My son & his wife arranged and paid an additional $250 to keep the bar open till 1 am and we were told the outside courtyard and fire pits would be available for us. Immediately upon return to the hotel at 11pm, the manager informed us that the courtyard was closed. Every time anyone went out to the courtyard, he promptly told them they got noise complaints and insisted we leave & remain in the hotel lobby. This was very disappointing as it was a beautiful night and the guys wanted to smoke cigars and celebrate the marriage. Beside that, the venue was clean & the staff ( beside the manager) were very helpful and pleasant. If you pay extra for the courtyard, get it in writing! We will be requesting our $250 back!

Stayed for an overnight business meeting. Hotel room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Misinformed full breakfast was included and charged $23. Called to address this and was told, no this is on you. Small detail but in hospitality - details count.

Friendly and professional accommodating staff. Clean and updated rooms, and common area. Free parking onsite. Conveniently located off the z Willow Grove exit off the PA Turnpike. Many restaurants and shopping within under a 10 minute drive, which I highly recommend. WiFi, business room with printers, large lounging area, modern furnishings, clean rooms and common areas, temperature control from a thermostat in-room, and a mini fridge. The hotel and staff did what business should do- meet or exceed expectations. Every staff member is a delight. Courtyard Willow Grove is a safe and perfect hotel option in the area. I’ve stayed at some of the highest rated luxury hotels in the world. So, I’m aware of high standards. For a mid-level hotel chain, this Courtyard Marriott location fulfills everything it promises.

What I liked : - nice location with Olive Garden next door and Miller Ale house - friendly staff and nice lobby with bar service in pm and Starbucks coffee in am What I didn’t like: - room seemed outdated and old carpets - gym is useless - no hand cream or coffee in room - $3 parking fee for a large suburban lot - really!! - sister booked a AAA rate and got breakfast included and I booked on their bonvoy app that didn’t include breakfast. Once the rooms are renovated I’ll would stay again.

I requested a quiet room in hotel so they put me on the third floor - fine - except they put me next to the only other occupants on that floor. Having been in hotel housekeeping myself, management wants to fill rooms adjacent making it easier for housekeeping to clean. So inconsiderate of the desk to stick me there. And the room doors are the noisiest of any hotel I've ever stayed in. The cable was terrible with no audio on CNN, HDN, Cartoon N and poor quality image on many channels. No regular coffee in the rooms - ALL rooms, according to the front desk. Why only decaf? Again, probably to make less work for housekeeping. You have to get dressed and get regular coffee in the commissary. A nice staffer brought me up a cup after I complained but is this any way to run a hotel?
