Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort

Having stayed previously at Orange Lakes in Florida, this was our first visit to Williamsburg. The resort is much smaller and quieter which suited us. The grounds and communal buildings were beautifully maintained and spotless. It’s in a great location to visit the area which is filled with history. We will definitely visit again as loved the area.

Place was good nice staff. Had to switch rooms after first night due to property being booked up both rooms were nice second room was signature suite and was as pictured , it was clean but some spots missed but really great for 2 b 2bath we were 2 adults 3 kids plenty of room fully equipt Kitchen . Fridge was down but they fixed it . They will offer you a time share presentation option.

Cleanliness and hospitality were superb here. This property is kept up especially well. We stayed in a 2 BR apartment and could not have been more pleased. Seemingly a bit out of the way, the drive to Colonial Williamsburg was but 15 - 20 minutes. We shall return.

Well this was our third thrip to this location. The resort is well maintained. The staff was amazingly helpful and took great care of us. I love the quietness of the resort. The villas are in great shape. The gal at the front desk at our check in was fantastic. When she realized we had another married couple in the second bedroom she had housekeeping come move the two beds together to make a king bed. We are planning a return trip in 2025. Love the Wawa that is so close. A daily visit! Love being so close to Francesco's Restaurante Italiano. 3 nights. Great time with our friends. Thank you for a beautiful location even though we only used the villas.

Resort in a great location near all of the history of the williamsburg area. The resort had a nice putt putt course and nice indoor and outdoor pool.Very spacious rooms with high ceilings. Nice bowling center and food stand near the pool. Everyone is nice around the resort. Only 30 to 45 minutes from Virginia beach. Must stay in williamsburg

We traded into this resort through Interval to stay here for a long holiday weekend. We were not asked to attend a timeshare presentation. Pros: The property is very pretty with a lily pad filled koi pond at the entrance. Kid friendly- several pools, and the resort has these little craft kits that you can buy for $3 a piece to wile away any down time. Don’t buy the “lego” one as they aren’t real legos and were very hard to put together. I love the lay out of the room - kids had their own bathroom and the layout put both bathrooms between the two bedrooms which helps with noise. About 15 minutes from Busch gardens. Both bathrooms had jacuzzi tubs which was very exciting to the kids. We would like to give this resort 3.5 stars but of course the rating system does not allow this. Cons: Beds are VERY hard. As in wake you up in the middle of the night uncomfortable hard. Cleaning leaves something to be desired- rotting food under the sofa and mold on the inside of the shower curtain. We asked that these be addressed and it still wasn’t addressed until the second day/request. This suggests that deep or detailed cleans aren’t performed between guests. The internet was really spotty. Tips: Make sure to get a real room key because the bracelets don’t seem to work with the safe. Our family is comprised of 2 elementary aged boys and 2 adults. We would stay here again.

Lovely room, avoid the check-in sales pitch! Looks like you can cut it short by saying your household income is below $50k annually. We checked in tired - offered $150 cash to sit through a sales pitch. Thought it was 30 mins. At the sales pitch we found out it would be 90 mins, so we declined and have been charged $30 for missing it. Looking through other reviews it sounds like the pitch actually goes for longer. Soured our opinion of the place. Lesson learned. Cash is never that easy! Note to IHG - just be honest, we were already considering looking for a time share but we don't want one with a company that's pushy and I doubt we're the only people who feel that way. With that out the way - we had a clean room, comfy not-too-soft bed, fully equipped kitchen, everything worked. Washer and dryer in the unit. Coffee machine did filter coffee and espresso 👌 There was an xbox in the room?!? no controllers, bit random but ok! Overall feeling walking in was "ohhhh, this feels fancy!" - I'd love to give this 5 stars but we're feeling on edge now, like we have to be constantly aware of where the next sales pitch is going to be coming from.

We had an enjoyable stay at this resort. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which included a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a jetted tub and stacked washer and dryer and a large bedroom with a king size bed. Everything was in great working order and nicely decorated. The only complaint I have is that we booked this as part of a marketing program that required us to attend a two hour sales presentation. The presentation started at 11:30 am and lasted until well after 3 pm which essentially killed one of our days there. It was a very hard sell and we late found out that many of the claims made were not true.

We just stayed at this facility as an owner/member of the vacation club. The property was very accessible and near (within 25 minutes) of Williamsburg Colonial Village, Yorktown & Jamestowne. The two-bedroom villa had twin beds in the front bedroom and a king-size bed in the owner's suite. Each was quite comfortable and allowed for a good night's rest. The kitchen was supplied with adequate cooking & eating utensils, drink ware, cups etc. The only complaint was the door to the owner's suite stuck when closed all the way and made a loud noise when opening it.
