SpringHill Suites Wichita Airport

Good hotel close to the airport and the perfect place to stay before flying out in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I picked the hotel as it is next to a Texas Roadhouse restaurant. Tip - book a table ahead at the restaurant to avoid a long wait as it is very busy in the evenings. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Overall I was very happy with my stay and the price I paid for the room. Would I stay again? Yes.

Busy hotel. The rooms were comfortable and had showers, which I always prefer. Great laundry facility. Parking was plentiful but crowded. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I did eat the breakfast buffet, but it did not look that appealing. Overall positive experience.

Had to switch rooms as the TV was not working. Down graded room with Marriott Titanium status. Not cool. One Elevator was not working which made for long waits. The staff was courteous and friendly which made the couple night stay easier. Full service Marriott not far away is a better choice

The reservation process on the Marriott Bonvoy website, the rate and parking were all good. The location was convenient to the airport, highways and restaurants. Our room on the fourth floor was quiet, clean and spacious, with multiple seating, lighting and electrical outlet options. The air quality was good, although the window did not open. The HVAC filters were reasonably clean, and the humidity was a comfortable 30%. The tap water tasted fine. The bathroom had a spacious shower and vanity counter and excellent lighting. Yes, the sliding bathroom door was somewhat noisy and the frosted glass door did allow the light to be seen at the bed at night, but we did not mind it. I appreciated the comment card left in the room. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh spinach, cheese, and salsa at the scrambled egg station, granola and Activia yogurt. The cold items were available before the posted opening breakfast time. The grounds were neat and tidy, with multiple areas for outdoor seating. The lobby and first floor smelled like chlorine from the indoor pool. The desk staff members were very helpful and responsive to requests, however, at the time of check out, they did not ask me about my stay. I left there with a smile on my face.

This well-run hotel is conveniently located about 1.5 miles from Wichita airport terminal. Check-in was smooth. The front desk staff in the evening was cheerful and accommodating to my 4 pm late checkout request. They also had bottles of water with my name on them. A nice touch. There's Texas Roadhouse restaurant next door, but not much else is within walking distance. Springhill Suites is my favorite Marriott brand for work. Sure, I'd rather stay at a JW Marriott or a Ritz Carlton, but these aren't usually an option. I do like the concierge lounge in their other properties when I'm in a big city. The places was quiet, the bed was comfy. The only issue I had was I was too stupid to figure out the tv. Something wasn't quite right, but I chose not bother anyone. Not a big deal. I'd stay here again for work.

Stayed here for a family funeral with several family and friends. Very nicely surprised at just how great the staff treated everyone and how clean and nice the hotel rooms were. Stopped by the pool/hot-tub...it was just luke-warm. (and thus not worth it) Overall, I'd stay here again.

This hotel was in a good location, with food within walking distance. My kids enjoyed the pool. The employees were very friendly and gave us coupons for the restaurant next door. This was our first time in Wichita and we would definitely stay here again if we’re back through the area.

This was our first stay in this hotel. We stayed in a 2 bed room. Cons-layout of room is strange. The bathroom is right in front of the beds and has a glass door. I see the look they were going for but if you need to use the bathroom while someone else is sleeping the light shines right in their face. This hotel did not have a glass shower as most do and the tub was very small and did not drain well. The pool was small and the chemicals in it must have been very strong because it really got to our eyes. There was a boil notice that day which we were not told about at check in and so there was no ice to be had in the hotel. We pulled out the pull out couch bed and there were dirty sheets on it. There were clean sheets in the room but it should have been checked for dirty sheets when it was cleaned. Breakfast was good but the lady running it was late so some people had to catch the shuttle without breakfast. She must have been having a bad day because she was very rude. Literally told people “get out of my way”. By 7:30am most food was gone so we went to the desk to ask if there was more food. They finally brought out more but it went really fast because so many people were waiting. Pros-beds were comfortable. Small fridge was available. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Came in late and left early so interaction with staff or the amenities were limited. Front desk staff were very efficient, I always appreciate a quick checkin process. Having status is helpful with that. The room was comfortable, warm. Unfortunately I accepted a room on the first floor which I never typically do and the noise from the parking lot got a bit bothersome. The walk in shower was great with high pressure. Very quick access to the airport and suprising I did not hear any airport noise.
