The Goodwood Hotel

整體一如既往的悠閒，但設施確實老化了，房間電話不通，沐浴乳泵頭也壞能讓，餐廳菜單也退步了

國外真的很難找酒店，就這個距離開會地點很近，酒店比較安全，服務設施也算是齊全的，乾淨整潔，其他的就不用再考慮了

We had a fabulous stay at the Goodwood Hotel, staying for two nights in August. On arrival, the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming and they couldn't do enough to make us feel immediately comfortable. Our room was immaculate with modern yet interesting decor and we didn't hear a peep from other rooms during our stay. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was lovely, with a powerful shower and bath too. We made the most of all the amenities on site. The pool and leisure facilities were complimentary and I had a lovely round of golf on the Park course, whilst my wife enjoyed a swim and relax. Eating in the restaurant was a real treat. The evening menu was delicious; exquisite courses washed down with a selection of lovely wines. Once again, the service was excellent and we polished off the evening in the bar, relaxing in one of the well furnished ante rooms. All in all, it was a heavenly couple of days. The estate is full accessible and we enjoyed walking around the park, watching vintage cars blast round the race track, and had a treat seeing the Spitfire take off too. A really lovely stay.

This was my 9th visit to Goodwood Hotel, this time I took my mum, to celebrate her birthday. We had the most amazing time from start to finish. Staff were friendly and attentive, our room was perfect, clean and comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice, prompt service, nice cooked breakfast! Mum had a facial, which she thoroughly enjoyed. A great stay once again, can't wait to come back again! Thank-you Goodwood.

A mixed stay. Breakfast was AMAZING and the grounds were lovely. However sadly there were used pint glasses and a juice in the corridor outside a door for both nights of my stay. The hotel was lovely in terms of furnishings, coffee, there's a great farm shop and the breakfast staff were fantastic. The bath and bed were lovely too.... however. On the second night a drunk man walked into my room from an adjoining room, thrre was no lock between the rooms and my door just opened and a piece of sound proofing/foam fell through, then a man i didn't know walked in around 2/3am. When I reported it to the staff at the desk they were surprised it bothered me and told me I should have gone down at 3am (my room was three corridors away and i wasnt dressed) to tell them about it. I also had staff directly complaining about their salaries when I was paying my bill, so felt pressure not to complain. I was directly asked by a staff member not to mention the adjoining room incident in a review as "it will obviously be you when we read it", however it is a serious safety issue so I'm writing a review anyway. Overall an expensive mixed experience. Necessary for a meeting but won't be staying again

We spend our anniversary weekend here. The staff were so attentive but not overbearing. I recommend Farmer, Butcher, Chef restaurant and bar. Delicious food. We did not enjoy the grill so much- mainly due to the large parties and noise. We did the red walk in the grounds which took us past Goodwood House. Reception said it was fine to do and gave us a map. We came across preparation for the festival of speed and signs saying hard hats needed. We were a bit confused but managed to find our way safely. Our room was comfortable and clean. I enjoyed having a bath (so many hotels seem to only have showers). The room could have benefited from plug sockets near the bed (bring an extension lead!). I slept well but woke a couple of times when neighbours banged doors. Other than those two occasions, it was peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed drinks at the bar but only found it by chance on the way back from our walk!

On the whole an excellent stay with excellent staff. Serving soup on cold plates was disappointing. Entitling one dish on the menu ‘Pig’s Head’ did not sound very appetising! The presence of our canine friends everywhere was a great joy. Mr and Mrs Richard HEMING.

We stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding at The Kennels. We had asked for an early checkin due to the timing of the wedding and we’re told that they couldn’t guarantee this but would make a note on their system. When we got there, our room was available, which was a huge relief! Gorgeous hotel, room was really comfy and super clean. Breakfast was delicious - even though we went down right at the end of the service, there was plenty available and, if you did find something lacking, the staff were happy to replenish. Very friendly and professional staff. It’s a little out of our price range for a regular visit but made the wedding trip a really special occasion. Well done team!

The truth is …this is my third stay at this hotel. The first two times, both my wife and I loved it. The walks in the grounds around Goodwood House, afternoon drink at The Kennels and spending time watching the sports cars driving around The Motor Circuit just down the road and the occasional Spitfire flying overhead. This time, I was a little disappointed. I had rung the hotel to say it was a special occasion (my wife’s birthday) so we had decided as a ‘last minute’ thing to spend a couple days at ‘one of our favourite hotels’. I was informed that I would be given a ‘good room’. On arrival, we were given Room 359 which was along the corridor, up the threadbare stairs, along another corridor and at the end. Ok, fair enough. Opening the room, we found a very small box of chocolates with a note saying ‘Happy birthday’. Ok, fair enough… We booked food in the ‘Bar and Grill’ restaurant only to find a limited menu. The next day, we found that the swimming pool had swimming lessons and lanes. The TV in the room is old (not a Smart TV, so no streaming channels!) Wi-Fi was ‘hit and miss’. I was kept awake each night by doors slamming and people talking loudly as they walk passed the room at around midnight. We left the sign on our door for our room to be serviced only to find that none of the dirty cups/glasses had been removed, no replacement coffee pods/tea bags. This happened every day of our stay. All in all, I feel that the standards have dropped. I hope you can upgrade your services.
