Hurst Farm B&B

The tranquil setting of this lovely B&B was perfect for a weekend in the countryside. When the sun was shining we enjoyed a dip in the pool and when the rain poured down, it was really cosy inside. The views were beautiful, I loved seeing chickens, sheep and cows from the big windows of our room. We enjoyed meeting the dog and the cat, and Victoria looked after us really well. We enjoyed vegetarian breakfasts and were given directions to walk to a local (ish) pub for a great meal. This was ideal accommodation for attending a wedding at Chiddingstone castle as it was a very short drive. I have been telling my family and friends about this wonderful place as I highly recommend it!

This lovely B&B is in a beautiful countryside location, yet is only a short drive from Oxted and other local towns. The views from the breakfast area are - as others have said - absolutely glorious. Victoria is a friendly and efficient host and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. Highly recommended.j

Please do not use this venue for your wedding reception. We were progressing with the Hurst farm for our reception however changed our venue now, thankfully!.There are many things wrong with the venue, no parking on site and would have to provide shuttle service from local village hall at an additional charge to hire the car park (£150) and hire shuttle. There is only one toilet for guests. Victorias contract was very rigid, strict noise rules with a charge if not adhered to, amongst many others which made the whole experience feel too structured with too many terms and conditions. The deposit was huge, meaning now we are unable to use the venue due to guest mobility issues Victoria is withholding over £1500 of my money. This is far more than “industry standards” and unreasonable. Victorias communication in general is quite abrupt, clear that she wanted to profit from the scenario rather than having keen interest in the wedding industry. Once all external providers were sourced such as stretch tent, lighting, catering, bar, alcohol license, generator etc it was working out to be just as expensive as a packaged wedding somewhere else. Other venues have experience and the facilities, unlike Victoria who has never hosted a wedding reception before. Overall the experience was poor. If you want your day to be special I advise using experienced wedding venue.

The most stunning location and b&b! We had a brief but wonderful stay, could have easily stayed longer. Our room was so comfortable, aesthetic and clean! Such a great nights sleep, lovely breakfast and 10/10 swimming pool!

We came here to stay for my sister’s hen do. Victoria is a fantastic host and does everything she can to accommodate. It is perfect for a girly weekend away and the views are incredible! We had so much fun in the pool (even if it was a bit cold) and Victoria cooked us lovely breakfasts each morning. We rented her barn kitchen for the evening which was a great idea. Will definitely come back again!

Stayed here for one night and was very impressed. The accommodation is stunning and our host was friendly and welcoming. We particularly loved the view from the lounge we shared with our friends. Our breakfast was delicious and will go back.

Very friendly service and just like a home from home. We enjoyed having all the bedrooms and sharing the common areas with friends and stunning views. No TV's in the rooms was unexpected, but most guests found they didn't miss them for the 1 night we were there. Bedrooms were unique and all sweet & cozy. Location was good and all the amenities provided were appreciated. Best feature was the views and beautiful rooms. What we liked least was the proximity to the owners which we didn't realise when booking, and the lack of hot water when we all wanted showers at the same time.

We stayed en famille for a wedding held locally. We took all 4 bedrooms so had the sitting room/ kitchen to ourselves which was great. The property is immaculate and well located. Victoria the owner was delightfully relaxed and very helpful. This is a super place which we can strongly recommend.

Hurst Farm Edenbridge Hurst Farm was where we based our family for the wedding of our daughter. We booked all 4 rooms for family and bridesmaids. Taking full advantage of the ability to engage a private chef, we booked a private chef, to cater for 14 of us on the evening before the wedding. Victoria allowed Daisy and us to 'take over' her most wonderful large, open plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen is extensively equipped, enabling a most splendid dinner to be prepared by Daisy, and served on a huge table, beautifully laid by Victoria herself. Victoria and her Son Alex could not have been more helpful, accommodating and flexible to the unexpected changes to plans and schedules which arose (rail strike). The large, multiple spaces available enabled us to 'spread out' the 3 hair and make up professionals in attendance. The photographer was spoiled for choice for sites to take pre wedding preparation photos. Weddings can undoubtedly be a stressful time and particularly for the bridal party. Victorias calm presence, and her experience of these occasions, assisted the smooth running of the whole weekend. The icing on the cake (no pun intended) is the beautiful location, swimming pool, croquet lawn and tennis court. Victoria is without doubt an exceptional host, and Hurst Farm a beautiful venue and location.
