Rooms are small but fresh and clean. The rooms appear to have been recently updated. The motel is right in front of grain silos asa can be seen in the photos. There was some agri-dust in the air when we arrived and there was machine noise from the silos but neither is a bother. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend this motel and stay again if we are back in this area.

We wished we could have stayed longer! The family cabin was perfect for us as we were traveling with 3 kids and a nice opportunity to have a little extra space during a long road trip. Very clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly as well. The location is convenient for exploring Badlands Park. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

We stayed in one of the cabins. Perfect home base for the Badlands National Park. Natalie had great recommendations and can sometimes get a discount for you at local restaurants. Coffee and mini muffins are on offer in the lobby in the morning.

We had one of the cabins in the back of the hotel. It was comfortable, clean with a great shower, microwave, mini-fridge, good TV and coffee. Decent AC wall unit. There were ear plugs in the room, likely for the trains, but there was only one train in the afternoon, so no problem. Staff were very welcoming with popcorn on check in. Mini-muffins with emphasis on mini and coffee in the morning. Just a note that water in Custer isn't the best and would be the same for any hotel, so bring some with you. Other than the water in Wall, the place can't be beat. It was close enough to the badlands that we drove down in the evening for an awesome sunset picture.

The Hansen Inn recently changed ownership and has been completely renovated, retaining that motel “retro” cool ambience. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Wonderful host and staff. Walking distance to the famous Wall Drug for 5 cent coffee and donuts.

Hansen Inn & Cabins is a great place to stay and is in a great location to explore the Badlands. It's clean, nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay in the area and I highly recommend staying here if you are going to Wall or the Badlands.

This place is really nice. Renovated, clean, nice beds, simple modern decor. Very well appointed. The front desk people we met were very friendly and helpful. In town and within walking distance to restaurants and Wall Drug! Based on my research I would say this is the nicest place to stay in Wall . . . by far. I was dreading staying in crappy hotels on this cross country road trip. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel is. It's really a motel but it's a nice one!!! If you happen to be going to Cody Wyoming, stay at Moose Creek Lodge. It's got a simlar vibe - clean and nice with friendly people. I wonder if they're owned by the same people.

We found this by accident and so glad we did. My husband and I were on our vacation for our 10th anniversary trip. We were working our way back from western SD headed home to IL. I wanted a buffalo skull from a store in Walls I saw on our trip earlier so we stopped to get it but the store was closed. We decided to find somewhere to stay and discovered this adorable and unique Inn. We got a cabin. It was so cute, really comfortable and immaculately clean. Natalie the owner was gracious enough to give me a tour on some of the updates made. She also went the extra mile and knew the store owner and made a call for me. Before we left town I got my skull I wanted. I definitely would stay here again and highly recommend.

Taking the scenic route from Cincinnati to Boulder. Heard about Wall for 45+ years so this was on our stops. Stayed at several Motels along the way and this one, by far, was a 5+! Excellent staff. Best mattress of the trip. Clean and up to date. Right across the street, and a parking lot from Wall Drug
