A very convenient and fun location. Balcony overlooking the street was quite interesting. Gina's Anykine Bakery delicious. A shortwalk to Waimea pier in the morning as well as night stroll for amazing stargazing. The Aloha Spirit is very alive at the West Inn. Thank you Peter, Shannon, and especially Karen.

A kicked back place that is quiet and cozy. Shannon, the property contact was responsive via text within minutes. A couple decent local eateries within 5 minute walk and good grocery store for the room kitchenette. I was allowed to clean my scuba gear outside and hang up to dry.

Super clean, recently updated and very convenient to Waimea Canyon. Good local restaurants are right across the street with a good grocery store nearby. Our spacious room had a microwave, refrigerator, and a freezer. Shannon was a great host and gave us great local advice.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. It had all the amenities for a short or longer stay. Delicious coffee every morning. A welcome basket of snacks lasted me all week. The bathroom products like shampoo, conditioner and soap were a nice quality. I was able to do laundry easily. Great location! Beach with historic pier was a 3 minute walk. Easy walk to shopping, groceries, and restaurants and movie theater.

Our family of 13 needed a place to stay while visiting family for our New Year's Eve Celebration. After searching for accommodations (none for our size family was to be found) we came upon The West Inn Kauai's website and gave them a call. Shannon responded very quickly and within a few minutes found 3 rooms for 5 nights to accommodate our family. Rooms were clean, updated and comfortable, the location was perfect for our travels back and forth to Kekaha and the availability and options for dining was great! Our grandchildren were very comfortable and safe walking between buildings/rooms any time of day. Mahalo West Inn Kauai! We would 100% stay here again on our next visit to Kauai. 🌺

We can’t review the West Inn without stating how generous, kind and helpful Oskar is. He is the wonderful friendly face that welcomes you to the inn like you’re family. Oskar gave us some great travel and dining tips for this beautiful island. We loved all of his recommendations. Thank you, Oskar!!! We really appreciate all of your guidance and help. The inn has lovely rooms that are very clean, have kitchen supplies, have A/C and a great ceiling fan. Our room had a large TV, a king bed and a shared deck on the back. It was perfect. The West Inn is a great home base for exploring Waimea Canyon Park, Koke’e Park and the Napali Coast. Waimea is a cute and welcoming town with a few restaurants and two markets. The Ishihara Market has fantastic poke and the steakhouse has great dinners. All in all, we had a lovely three day stay at the West Inn and can’t wait to come back.
