White Caps Motel

This is a wonderful clean motel for a buck. 

Great experience all the way around. The room was recently remodeled. Clean bathrooms. The bed was uber comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It couldn't be a better stay. I highly recommend this Motel for its outstanding value in Ventura.

Don’t let appearances fool you! This is a lovely property. The owner is a thoughtful host. Absolutely immaculate and comfortable rooms. Perfect location in midtown Ventura. We didn’t have any construction noise or inconvenience. Can’t wait to see what the upgrades will look like! Will definitely be back.

Very impressed with this room. Per the front desk staff which I am assuming is the owner, the rooms were completely renovated last September and it really shows. Room is very modern and the bathroom was beautiful. Bed was very comfy. Exceeded expectations for a motel! More like a Hilton!

Wow! I wasn’t prepared for how nice this motel was, even after reading the reviews. The rooms are truly wonderful, boutique style without the outrageous price of a boutique hotel. They are spacious and spotlessly clean, something that is really important to me! The bed was quite honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in on this trip (a 3 week road trip) and the sheets etc. and towels are top quality. Although there aren’t mini fridges in the rooms, I imagine that the new owners will probably eventually install them - in my opinion, the most important things have been done, complete renovations to the rooms in what was an older motel (which I do love) and a level of comfort and cleanliness that is top notch. We went for a walk in the neighbourhood, which felt very safe, and had dinner in a fantastic Mexican restaurant a few blocks down the road, called Casa de Soria. Honestly, I can’t recommend this motel (and restaurant) enough!

Stayed for one night , the place is under new management and it shows; rooms have been refurbished really nicely, beautifully clean, super comfy bed. Easy access to downtown Ventura. Really friendly owners, it’s hard to beat at this price.

My family and I attended a concert at the Ventura Music Hall. It’s a 5-minute walk from White Caps! Super convenient since we didn’t have to find a parking spot at the venue. Everything you need- the beach, Main Street, Ventura Botanical Gardens- is a 4-5 minute drive from here. Super easy to get to off the 101. The newer-updated rooms are just as shown on the website. For the convenience and cleanliness of the motel, the price was also amazing!

One can tell that the new owner/management has put a lot of money and TLC into this property. This is a motel designed for beach-goers: easy-to-clean floors instead of carpets for sandy clothes to be laid, a simple design with a comfortable bed, and an ample shower to get the sand off. This isn't a full-service place: it is a quiet, comfortable and clean place to spend the night either while passing through Ventura like we were or being a beach bum for the weekend. It's an easy drive up East Thompson to go wherever one would want to in Ventura.

This Motel has been newly remodeled and it looks and feels fantastic. Everything was very clean. All the room amenities were brand new. A one night stay was at a great price. It is conveniently located near the beach and near the heart of downtown.
