Cocogiri Island Resort Maldives

This was our first visit to Maldives & Cocogiri, we loved it so much wish to visit again once in a year. The island is small and house reef is good, the staff ever smiling led by Manager Tina, who is always ready at assist to make your stay comfortable and a memorable one The food was great too. We stayed in Beach villa which is spacious enough to accommodate 3. The beach is nice and shallow making it safe for children. If you want a boutique Maldives experience at a very reasonable rate Cocogiri should be on the top your list. Dr Somashekar Nagaraju

This is our 3rd visit to Cocogiri, we loved it so much it has become a tradition to visit it every year. I am a very fussy traveller. Simply had to review; Just back from 11 nights at Cocogiri and I could not recommend this resort more highly. From the moment the boat arrived at the resort it was simply paradise.I normally arrive grumpy after such a long journey, but not here. SO relaxed. Detached villas, either beach or water bungalow, which is a major plus for me; i'm a very light sleeper. The spa is amazing, and under used. the food is superb with lots of choice, different every night, most resorts seem to replay a weekly menu, not here. Tina the resort manager is around constantly, greets you at most meal times. Nothing is too much trouble. Every member of her team are so attentive. The perfect resort to relax and unwind. Already planning our return trip. NO MOZZY BITES! which is a first for me!! Honestly, its simplicity and family feel ticked every box for 4 adults. Do not hesitate to choose this resort; everyone we spoke to during our holiday had the same feeling. Cannot wait to return.

I am writing this review and it’s only half way through our holiday because I am totally confidant in the staff and amenities and Tina’s management staff at Cocogiri.we had read nearly all the reviews on trip advisor and came to the conclusion that this is the resort for us and now we are here we are not disappointed. We saw some of the more disappointing reviews and can agree with some points but mostly are just very petty.firstly I would like to congratulate Tina and her management staff for first class job,very polite in every aspect of the job,from putting things right to changing a few dollars(nice one Tina A+). Moving on to the restaurant and bar staff,they out of this world and work so hard and nothing is to much trouble and make sure your plate is cleared for your next course or your glass is never empty(would have no problem in employing any of this staff,A+ again). We are in sea villa 209 and what a clean and spacious apartment it is and the bathroom the same and the 2 cleaning lads are superb,as for the bed it’s amazingly comfortable and never slept better.Now my only gripe,the mini bar in the room,it is chargeable,by all means charge for the gins,whiskeys ect and some of the snacks but the all inclusive stuff put in there free like a couple of beers and soft drinks.some people look at little details like this in choosing their holiday,but as for me you have won my loyalty and me and Liz will be back and recommend you to people seeking the magic of the Maldives. Had an absolutely amazing 7 night stay at Cocogiri resort. The airport pick up was smooth and efficient, the hotel welcome started the holiday on a high and we had a wonderful over water room which was private spacious and with stunning views. Cannot fault the rooms with easy steps into the ocean, fabulous bathroom and an outdoor shower for the post swim wash down. The food always great and huge variety each day. The team work hard and provide great attentive service. The massage was, well, I am still in a high! All this coupled with blue ocean and incredible reef right there perfect holiday. Only niggle was coffee! Having fresh coffee available at breakfast and in rooms but that said it was god for the caffeine detox! Thank you for a memorable and amazing stay
