We checked in about 6pm after our 2 day tour of the salt flats. Our plane was leaving early the next day and the hostel ensured we had time for breakfast and arranged for our taxi. The rooms were colourful, with antique/colonial furniture. It was super quiet, so we slept well. The rooms had heaters, but in winter it was still a bit cold. Beds were nice and warm. We were supposed to have a family room, but as we were an hour late, we didn’t get the family room, but had two rooms beside each other. No extra charge. It was great value for a hostel. The shower heads disbursed the water a bit too much, and the toilet in one of the rooms was leaking (just a bit - we let them know).

The place is just fine if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. It is not really clean, the rooms are cold and it is quite old. However the shower is warm and the people are really nice and gentle. Breakfast was ok. We didn’t meet a lot of other tourists

I spent 4 nights at this Hostal in April of this year 2024.It was just perfect.Check-in was handled speedily and the room I was given was large,clean and serviced daily.Sleep quality was perfect.A standout feature of this Hostal was the breakfast served each morning.A wide variety of food was available and attractively presented.The staff were so friendly and helpful and really made me feel welcome...I want to thank Nora,Jorge,Mirian,Christine,Jose Luis and Ariel for making my stay so enjoyable...The location was top class-on Calle Colon and near cafes and restaurants...This is a great place to stay in Uyuni and is definitely worth a return visit.

Warm welcome, lovely staff, comfortable heated rooms furnished in an elegant retro style, delicious breakfast included. Looked after our luggage while we went on a tour. Would definitely stay here again.

This hostel is very good value. Lovely old building very comfey bed and large room and a good shower with plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast is superb. I arrived early on first day and staff offered me breakfast and let me check in early too. The staff were very very helpful and the hostel was clean. Not to be overlooked.
