Am a loyalty member so I booked, chose my room on line and downloaded the digital key. Got to my room, luggage in tow, at 5pm to discover the key didn't work, so I went back to the desk to find out the room had a maintenance issue. Was assigned another room with a king, in lieu of my booked 2 doubles. Wasn't provided complimentary water or welcomed as a loyalty member. While the room is relatively new, the carpet in the room and public areas already has stains. Wish Tru would put laminate flooring in, just feels cleaner to me. The lobby also needs some HVAC work, very warm as you enter. Room AC works great but really hot in the lobby. A lot of street loud mufflers, fortunately I always travel with a fan for white noise. The area is ok but I drove to the grocery less than 2 miles away and it's VERY ROUGH. If you need groceries, I would't recommend leaving the immediate hotel area. Lastly, getting into the hotel is a bit tricky. You are forced to do a u-turn if coming from the west. (Between a restaurant and the hotel) There is only one entry drive and it isn't marked very well. There is also no "Entry sign" or any indicator at the lobby entry vestibule that it is the front door of the hotel. Just found that a bit odd.
