I thought I’ve been to the best in Durban until visiting The Oyster Box. All I can say is wow! This place is truly remarkable. There is so much of character and warm hospitality everywhere. The staff here are what make this place so special. Rooms - I’ve stayed in the Classic Garden Facing, Classic Sea Facing and Luxury Sea Facing rooms. All of them are luxuriously appointed with all the comforts one would require. Garden facing rooms are actually huge and overlook the lush tropical gardens (except for the room at the end of the hallway, this has practically no view so be sure not to take this room). There is not much difference between classic and luxury sea facing except that luxury has both a bath and shower and the bed faces the ocean. It’s definitely worth paying extra for the sea facing rooms. Being literally a few steps away from the Indian Ocean makes the views outstanding. There are many different design variations per room and all are beautiful. My favorite were the neutral beiges and grey tones though. I initially thought that the rooms would not feel warm and hotel-like enough since they are tiled in ice white, but it was actually just perfect. Pools - there are two pools. Both temperature controlled with excellent poolside service. One is set in the lush tropical gardens nearby to the spa. This is quieter and is lovely for a morning swim. The other is an infinity pool which is beside the Ocean Terrace restaurant. It overlooks the ocean and lighthouse which is absolutely gorgeous. The staff around the pool are really wonderful and obliging. Thanks to Thobile and her team. My only gripe with this main pool is that the area feels a little bit tight and not private enough. Loungers are packed really close together. It’s also adjacent to the Ocean Terrace restaurant where a lot of outside guests frequent so this area can feel crowded at times. I guess there isn’t much that can be done here because of space constraints and it’s still a lovely experience nonetheless. Spa and gym - visited the spa previously and it’s a destination on its own. Staff are amazing and treatments are lovely. It is on the pricier side though (possibly more geared towards foreigners). The Hammam and steam room are great and is complimentary for hotel guests in the mornings. Gym is basic but has all the necessary equipment and offers complimentary water and towel etc. - I love that it overlooks the greenery. Had a massage at the poolside which was fabulous. Lusanda is a true gem. Dining - we’ve only had the breakfast and no other meals since there are no halal options available. Breakfast was lovely but honestly nothing special or unique. I do feel that given the rates charged per night, the breakfast spread could be bigger. There is room for improvement here if I compare to other SA hotels like The Table Bay. Die Beverly Hills ist und hat immer eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Die Mitarbeiter sind oben und darüber im Dienst. Zimmer übersehen das Meer und haben spektakuläre Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang. Alle Mahlzeiten sind außergewöhnlich, Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit seinem wunderbaren Buffet ist ein Vergnügen, den Tag zu beginnen.

Diese B&B Sport 12 gut groß für ehrlich große Zimmer, in Umhlanga Rocks, etwa 40 Meter vom Strand entfernt (Unser Bad, in #3, war humongisch, und schön). Die Gäste sind so nett und toleriert viele COVID-assoziierte Rebooking von uns und anderen. Grounds haben einen schönen Pool, und viele gemütliche Nooks zum Lesen. Nicht viele Spiele im Haus, so bringen Sie Ihre eigene Unterhaltung. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten sind großartig. Cowrie Cove ist über eine Meile von Umhlanga, und somit über eine Meile von jedem Essen oder Einkaufszentrum. Uber-Reisen sind nur rund 100 Rand rund tripmore wie 400 R für eine runde Reise nach Durban. Die Fläche wurde hart von Regen getroffen, und der Strand hat viel Müll auf sie. Der Strand ist auch ziemlich eng und steif, und es ist schwer, lange Entfernungen zu gehen auf es 337, aber das ist nicht dieses Problem der Institutionen.

Conveniently situated, and easily accessible, opposite entrance to Gateway Shopping mall. Safe parking for guests. Spoilt for choice with eating establishments across the road. Clean and safe. Rooms are comfortable, with small fridge and kettle. Friendly and helpful staff.

Hilton is great staff are very helpful and do there job with a smile. Rooms are decent and views aren't so bad. Very close to malls and food places. Stayed a few times during ramadaan and found the hotel caters for muslim guests that are fasting which is great not forgetting the hotel is muslim friendly which means you can have some of the meat products without having to worry if it's halal or not. Will definitely return

Das Hotel Capital Pearl hat das professionellste und freundlichste Personal getroffen. Das Zimmer war erstaunlich und nett. Lage ist großartig, da der Strand einen kurzen Spaziergang ist. Schönes Team und hatte eine wunderbare Erfahrung und Aufenthalt

Neben der Zuweisung des Cheetah-Zimmers im Gegensatz zum Yellowood-Zimmer wurde unsere Buchung bestätigt, wir waren beeindruckt von der Qualität der Unterkunft, bieten sichere Parkplätze, obwohl ein wenig eng, Und die Lage, die gut in der Nähe von Umhlanga Village. Obwohl wir nicht die Frühstücksoption oder die Nutzung des Pools und Bars, empfehlen wir sehr Anchor's Rest als ideale Einrichtung für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

Gutes Stadthotel in sehr guter Lage, Unmittelbare Strandnähe, sicherer Stadtteil, viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Kleiner Poll im 6. Stock mit schöner Aussicht, leider kein Spa-Bereich vorhanden. Direkter Zugang zu EKZ mit Edelmarken.

This was my first time staying at the Royal Palms and enjoyed my stay and it was a very relaxing stay. Very close to any shopping venue you want. The rooms are special. I will invite my friends to visit this hotel in the future.

We stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The property is a few minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in Umhlanga and is around 200 yards from the sea front. We were given a superb large corner room from which we could glimpse the sea. There were opening doors on to a shared wraparound balcony. The decor was tasteful in the room too. There is a small sheltered pool and an honesty bar. Breakfast was very tasty with daily specials cooked to order by friendly staff. We could not have asked for more helpful hosts. From giving us advice about where to eat to putting us in touch with a reliable taxi owner for excursions and airport transfers, we were really taken care of. Ashley even got up at 4 am to help us move baggage to the waiting taxi for the airport transfer. We would certainly stay here on a future visit to Umhlanga.
