This is the first time I book my hotel via trip.com platform. However I must say that this is my worst ever experience and I urge all of you not to use this platform as I strongly think that this is a scam and irresponsible platform. I didn’t even had a chance to stay in the hotel. I was being directed like a puppet as the security at the check in point mentioned that I was not allowed to check in as I didn’t have a QR code sent to me. The security guard then directed me to call the contact number I received in my booking confirmation email but that number was wrong. The security guard even assisted me to call to that telephone number but the unknown number hung up. He then suggested me to go to the hotel management instead to check on my booking but that hotel person in charge told me that my booking number was not found in their list. I was so surprised that this kind of incident happens to me with such a reputable booking platform. (which is trip.com.). I had to book another hotel last minute via my usual booking platform which is agoda due to this unfortunate and irresponsible incident caused by trip.com and the hotel management. In addition to this, I had to bear with all the delay in all my upcoming activities caused by trip.com and hotel. My parents in law who were already 80 years and above with my young kids had to suffer with me waiting for the hotel and trip.com due to faulty number sent to my email confirmation. I am extremely disappointed with the service given by trip.com and the hotel!!!! Please never book whatever hotel/flight/ or any services offered by trip.com and this hotel for their irresponsible action made.
