Really good value for money. Very clean and modern. Lovely shower. Friendly staff, easy check in and good breakfast and dinner. Friendly locals in the pub. Traditional British pub with a fire! Would happily recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Excellent Sunday lunch, big portion, well presented with onion crisps and yummy range of veg - roast carrot and parsnip, Cauliflower cheese, broccoli and kale alongside roast pots, big Yorkie and tender beef. Others in family very happy with their plump burgers.

A very friendly pub with a great team behind the bar and a wonderful mix of customers. My first visit was when I came for a drink with an old friend. Excellent beer and some interesting new Wessex cocktails. Stayed for a burger. Excellent food as well Will be back very soon!

Room comfortable and clean but small. Not terribly welcoming. We reserved a table for dinner in advance. Checked in at 3pm. At 7pm when we went for dinner we were told the restaurant was closed but they would provide food for us as we were staying. We were given a very restricted menu. Not acceptable. We went elsewhere. Breakfast was fine but something not quite right here.

Called this morning to book for lunch, was no trouble at all. This was first visit and we were very impressed. Great service, fab food, lovely atmosphere. Will most definitely be back as only 15 minutes up the road from us

Went for a lunchtime meal. First time we had visited. Great pub. Served by a friendly man, Max, who looked after us very well. Food was excellent and so was the service. I would have no hesitation in recommending this pub and the views are amazing too!! Well done to all the staff!

Travelled from Belfast 15-17 th October family 2 adults 1 child . Arrived around 12 ish and room was ready , we had a family room with a large double & roll out single . Tea / coffee facilities in room and very large bathroom with a decent shower . friendly staff on arrival and always there to help with any enquires or a chat thru out our 2 day stay . breakfast of a full fry /toast /cereal was included and was really good ! They also do a lovely Sunday roast ! Beautiful surroundings and lots of seating areas outside to enjoy the glorious weather we got !! The owner and staff made us all feel very welcome and we would certainly go back again . Thanks everyone 😀

Clean rooms and a great bed are a must for me, my wife, and grandson and both rooms met up fully to our expectations. It's been a year since I've been here and I love the consistency of how clean the rooms are at the Fox & Hounds. Situated on the site of the pub, which has GREAT food, there are four rooms within very close walking distance to the restaurant. There's loads of spaces for your car in the car park. If you need a retreat, or just a night to stay, this is a wonderful place, in a village that is in the vale of the White Horse.

Myself and my family stayed here for two nights. The welcome was warm, the staff were exceptional, they couldn't do enough for you, we all felt so looked after. I would love to come again, clean spacious rooms, a beautiful view, great breakfast and attentive hosts- what more could you ask for.
