One of the best hostel experience I've had. The hosts were so warm and welcoming and helpful with the suggestions. Has a prime location. City palace is at walking distance. Lal ghat is almost at the doorstep. The view from the rooftop is stunning. If you're doing a workation like me, there was a dedicated common room with fast wifi, has a gorgeous view of sunset in the evenings

Staying at this hostel #Hostel Mantra in Udaipur was one of the highlights of my trip. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city with a breathtaking view of the lake and surrounding hills. Waking up to the serene sunrise and ending the day with golden sunsets from the rooftop was an experience in itself. The hostel had a warm, friendly vibe, with clean rooms, cozy common spaces, and everything you need as a traveler. Clean and hygienic washrooms added to the comfort of our visit. The photos on the site are 100% accurate — the view and the room matched perfectly. It was easy to connect with fellow guests, and the atmosphere was always chill yet vibrant. A special mention to the host Ashish and team whose hospitality truly stood out. Extremely kind, down-to-earth, and always ready to help with local recommendations, planning transport, or even just sharing a heartfelt conversation. Their care and energy made the stay feel less like a booking and more like a home. If you’re heading to Udaipur, this hostel is a must-stay—for the view, the comfort, and the people. Already looking forward to returning someday.

It was okay. I liked the property location. But service and behaviour of management was okay. I paid extra for my food bill by mistake and the person sitting at counter not refund the remaining amount. Food was okay. Only the location of property and cleanliness were good so I stayed there. Overall it was an average experience.

It was an amazing and lovely stay. Great hospitality, comfortable beds. Washroom was really maintained. Overall a good experience.

They are not at all flexible in accommodating friends together. Their party nights vibes are really off. The bedding was not at all comfortable specially the blankets. Outside alcohol is not allowed and the alcohol they serve is pretty expensive. The management is not very helpful. We think we only paid for the view.
