Courtyard Tulsa Downtown

I like hotels in renovated historic buildings since they have more character than the usual chain hotels, & Marriott & Hilton have an ever-growing list of such properties. However, the 1st floor building entry IS NOT the actual hotel entry since the lobby is on the 2nd floor. You enter into a poorly lit, partially unoccupied area of mostly closed business locations, that is dark, unattractive & off-putting. If we had not known a hotel was actually located on the upper floors we would have walked out. Add some plants, lighting & furniture to make the area more inviting. Same with the bar area which is also poorly lit & uninviting. Next visit I will request rooms that FACE the street since the windows will help brighten the rooms. Other rooms face a dark interior courtyard with windows that need regular cleaning. My room was attractively furnished & nicely sized, as was the bathroom, which is not always the case in such renovated historic properties. All the staff were welcoming & helpful & would not hesitate to return again. Directly in the center of Tulsa's Downtown & walkable to everything.

Was in town for a business trip with several colleagues. We had to get prior authorization for using a company card and not having that person with us but the hotel was easy to work with and made check-in smooth. This hotel was clean and quiet. There is a parking garage but it is not included with the hotel as it's through a 3rd party but it does have in and out privileges. Fitness area is small with about 4 machines but it gets the job done. Coffee bar in the lobby serves breakfast and coffee as an additional charge. I would stay here again and plan to for future work trips.\

Excellent location and historic building . Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and quiet rooms equipped with portable fans. Stayed 4 nights and would return. Flexible with checkout time which was very much appreciated due to postponed flight.

Our company came in with about 15 people at the same time to get checked in late at night and the staff were very helpful and efficient in getting us checked in. An employee by the Name of Lane was especially helpful and kind to us. I’m ambassador status as well

I stayed here for work-related travel. The rooms are typical of Sheraton properties on the larger size. Everything was clean and it was in a good location downtown in a historic building. WiFi was decent. It's nothing special, but sometimes, that's all you need.

Stayed here to attend shows at BOK center. Venue is walkable during good weather. Parked in covered garage and used sky bridge to get back and forth to car. Easy parking situation and felt safe. Some restaurants within walking distance. Area attractions east drive from hotel (Spent a lot of time at Gathering Place and Riverside area as well as cheesy Rt 66 attractions.) staff friendly enough.

We had a room booked for the Madonna concert. Obviously we had to cancel. We canceled a week before the deadline and they still charged us. My wife called twice, forwarded the email proving the cancelation and they still didn't remove the charge. Luckily American Express is good to work with and now Courtyard can deal with them instead. Ridiculous

This was our second stay at this hotel due to its downtown location and walking access to a couple of restaurants we wanted to go to. It has good access to the highways and easy to get to from the airport. The hotel is in an older office building so the lobby/check in is on the second floor. While there was a "valet" there at the entry, that's for luggage etc. assistance as parking is in the attached garage and you need to prepay it based on the length of your stay but in/out is free all day/night. The check in was smooth but the staffing is minimal. The rooms are on the 3rd through 12th floors and those floors are accessible using your room key in the elevator. Ice is on the even floors but I didn't notice or ask about filling stations for refillable water bottles. Our room, a double queen, hadn't changed much from the last visit two years ago. Large room but a little dated in it's decor but clean. We had good water pressure in the shower despite the sign asking for patience with the older pipes. The shower has the on-the-wall refillable shampoo/conditioner/shoer gel. There is a very small work out room and guest laundry. The restaurant/bar area is pretty large but services/hours there are minimal. The bar serves Starbuck's and a few of their products in the morning and just couple of things in the evening that are basically microwaved items. While they have liquor on the back bar, I was left wondering if they actually made drinks because when I ordered a glass of wine, I was offered choices of two pour mini bottles of wine vs. being able to order just a glass. If restaurant bar amenities are for you then this wouldn't be a good choice. There are both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and snacks for purchase by the check in area and I recall seeing a microwave. All in all, the hotel is clean, well kept and in a good downtown location.

Marriott is usually my hotel of choice. After this experience, however, I am rethinking this decision. This Courtyard was significantly below my standards. I used 3 upgrade nights for a one-bedroom suite for my stay. The “suite” was so dark I thought I was in a dungeon. The view, through dirty windows, was of a white painted brick wall - ten feet away, with huge patches of paint missing. The Internet is basically nonexistent. The so-called Starbucks (not) is only open from 6:30am-9:30am. The lobby is on the second floor and the first floor is not secure in the evening with open access to anyone. I would strongly recommend selecting another hotel. I would not stay in this Courtyard again.
