Stayed here several times and enjoyed comfortable rooms and choice of Carvery or main menu and good selection of real ales + growing selection of 0% ales and ciders. The only downside in our room 2 was no mirror near a power socket for mum wife to do her hair, other than that, highly recommend

Unfortunately, the expectations were not so surprising in the room and the breakfast did not seem so fresh either. It looked completely different from the pictures. The staff was very kind and helpful in everything and I can say that the staff deserves 5 stars.

Massively disappointing stay here with my Girlfriend on our way through to Cornwall. The photos online are misleading and the property looks nothing like the photos advertised. Our room was very dated, and stank of mold, even though they clearly tried to cover it with a plug in air freshener. To access the room you have to leave the property, and walk past the disgusting smell of the Kitchens Extractor fan aimed at the stairs outside, to then follow down the path of a vile carpet hallway to your room, which looks straight out of a horror movie. The windows have never been cleaned and are covered in cobwebs and grime, The fan had dirt all over it, and all you can hear is the bar downstairs, or the hum from some sort of generator. We left before we had Breckfast because we couldnt get out fast enough, and will never be returning . Worst part of our trip by quite a margin.
