Mainalon Resort

Although this hotel is in pretty much original condition, it is a landmark, perfectly located with balcony rooms overlooking the big town square, the rooms are clean, the staff are great, there's parking onsite and it's a budget price range. Great for a few nights if you're wanting to explore Tripoli and the surrounding area. Wonderful to sit out the front in the evenings, with a brand new bar operating this year, and enjoy a drink and a meal whilst watching the locals going about their daily life.

This is my 2nd stay here. Right in the main square. Only issue is parking but other than that it's great. They have parking but it fills up super fast. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is on par. No dissapointments.

We arrived and were given a room with dirty carpets, torn drapes, mold in the bathroom and air conditioning that did not work. The room reeked of cigarette smoke. It was a disgrace! I went to the front desk to request another room. She was quite rude and said they were fully booked and there was nothing she could do. was told they were booked. So, we checked out and found a delightful hotel around the corner. Trip Advisor should remove this hotel from there listings!

It is not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it is 5 star service and location, especially considering the price. The carpet and ancient furniture desperately need to be replaced. However they provide so much stuff in the bathroom. Dental kit, shower caps, shampoo, body wash. Many lush clean towels. Great water pressure. Clean, spacious and functional bathroom. The beds are super clean comfortable. The balcony with view of the square (plateia) is so worth getting. The view is awesome. Great place to drink wine and people watch. What is especially great, is that you can’t hear anything from outside once the doors are closed. There are three kiosks (periptera) only a few meters away. You can walk from your hotel to all the restaurants, cafeterias, churches and shops all on pedestrian streets. No cars! Amazing for families. Fantastic location and much nicer than the neighbouring hotels. The breakfast buffet is big and clean. Beautiful view of the square. Polite, helpful and efficient staff. Definitely a town worth visiting. This is the place to stay if you want great location, amenities and good price.

Το Μαίναλο Resort είναι στην πλατεία Άρεως. Μείναμε μόνο μια νύχτα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν καταπληκτικό. Η διακόσμηση πολύ ωραία και το μπάνιο επίσης άνετο και καθαρό. Το πρωινό ικανοποιεί όλα τα γούστα. Φρέσκα φρούτα, γαλακτοκομικά, δημητριακά, ξηροί καρποί, κρουασανάκια, μπουγάτσα, αυγά, χυμοί, καφές, τσάι.... Και άλλα που δεν θυμάμαι. Πληρώσαμε 70 ευρώ για ένα πίσω δίκλινο δωμάτιο.

Το κτίριο βρίσκεται πάνω στην Πλατεία Άρεως της Τρίπολης. Είναι ανακαινισμένο. Διαθέτει ιδιωτικό πάρκιγκ. Τα δωμάτια ευρύχωρα. Η επίπλωση καλή. Τα λουτρά ανακαινισμένα. Πολύ καθαρό. Το προσωπικό πρόθυμο και ευγενικό. Το πρωϊνό αξιοπρεπές. Το δωρεάν WiFi καλό.

Πολύ καλό σημείο, πάνω στην πλατεία Άρεως. Καθαρό, αλλά έχει λίγη φασαρία από μουσική από τα καταστήματα της πλατείας. Μεγάλο μαρμάρινο μπάνιο με ντους. Κρεβάτια έχει μόνο μονά που ενώνονται, δεν έχει διπλά. Είναι όμως πολύ ξεκούραστα. Πρόβλημα τα ψηλά μαξιλάρια και δεν υπάρχει εναλλακτική. Πλούσιο πρωϊνό και φιλική εξυπηρέτηση. Διαθέτει πάρκινγκ, πολύ σημαντικό τώρα που ξεκινούν νέα μέτρα στάθμευσης με εισιτήριο στο κέντρο.
