The Heritage Inn

Possibly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. This team went well-above and beyond anything Inciuld have dreamed of in ensuring that my friend and I had an excellent stay! In addition to the 5-star service, the location was convenient to everything, the view is STUNNING, gorgeous restaurant on site, pool is a salt water pool and the perfect temperature, rooms were nice and the beds were super comfortable. We spent a good amount of our time hanging out on our private patio, taking in the views, and drinking wine that we easily purchased from the restaurant. Best value I’ve had for my money in a long time. We discussed it, were never staying anywhere else in Tortola.

Tia accommodated our late check in and provided us with some much needed snacks and water as our flights were very delayed. The property is small and the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast or lunch which was disappointing. We were looking forward to the food after reading so many of the positive reviews. Seems the chef was out? The room itself was small but more than adequate place to lay your head before departing on a sailing adventure as we did.

Greatest view just about anywhere. Great service friendly staff. The only hold back from a 5 is the distance from the beaches. The Bananakeet restaurant is too good. A highly recommended dining experience . Was good value for the price. Triadviser needs a few words to get past thier 200 minimum

Windy Hill should be renamed Pleasant Breezy Hill. This beautiful, sunny place is quite high on the hill, but it stays cool. And the pool is a good enough size, properly maintained, and always there if you're feeling the heat. You look down on the quaint village in Carrot Bay and then out into the sea, dappled with little islands, changing their contours throughout the day as the light changes. If you think it's all a matter of Location Location Location, Heritage Inn has got that right. If you're looking for great food, professional and friendly staff, comfortable apartments and total relaxation, Heritage Inn has got that in abundance. Other reviews say you have to have a car. They have a point: the hills are steep and if you want to make your meals you have to get to the shops. The closest supermarket is in Cane Garden Bay and that's a 20 minute walk. Easy downhill; pretty steep coming home. But we did it and we're pretty old. If you want to explore the island, invest in a car (taxis aren't cheap). If you like walking, Carrot Bay is unspoilt and bursting with character. We've never met anyone like Shell Man before. An absolutely wonderful week with Tia, Ninja, Spice Man, Shaniq and Selena making us laugh, informing us about the Caribbean and, above all, providing the best in hospitality.

Stayed for 4 nights. Customer service was polite and accommodating. Got a room service after two nights which was very nice. Apartment was very clean, and as showed on the pictures, the view out of the room is actually even more picturesque (and photogenic) than showed. Yes, one can tell some of the equipment in the apartment is used for some time; however, everything was functional without any problems. The kitchen contained all the basics one needed for some light cooking. The office closes at 3pm so to arrange a check-in I would suggest calling a couple days in advance especially if arriving on the weekend or late in the afternoon. I didn't know that and had a little hard time getting ahold of someone to give us the keys when we arrived in the late afternoon on Sunday. The location is good as well, the must-see beaches are about 15min drive, the same for grocery stores, and restaurants. Oh, almost forgot about the restaurant that is adjacent to the inn - the food is delicious although little pricey. Overall, I would recommend staying if travelling on budget.

We only stayed here one night and we were pleasantly surprised. We were sailing for a week, and needed a night before chartering our sailboat. This is a cute boutique-like hotel in Tortola. Our connecting flight into STT was delayed so we were not able to arrive to Tortola as early as we wanted to. I was really looking forward to the sunset views at Heritage, as I heard they are amazing. We arrived around 8:30pm, shown to our room immediately. This is like a tiny 1 bedroom apt. There was a door to the bedroom (only space that had A/C), a bathroom, small efficiency kitchen and sitting area. It was perfect for us! We went to the restaurant on site and the food, the atmosphere was amazing! Wait staff was attentive and the food did not disappoint! I have a dairy allergy and they were more than accommodating. There was a curry dish I wanted, but they put cream in their curry. Instead, the chef came up with a mango salsa to put on the fish in place of the curry! It was delicious! The view is perfect and I would stay here again!
