It was nice overall.

Clean little unit, very cosy with great heater. Beds were comfy - bedding and room cleaned every 3 days. Location is handy. Disappointed rubbish wasn’t cleared daily and very disappointed it advertises having a laundry, - turns out the laundry wasn’t available to guests. We had to drive around town to find laundromats as we were there for 10 days. I think Laundry should be taken off their advertising as it is misleading.

Very friendly owner on check in. Close to the hot springs, supermarket and food options. Got upgraded from a queen room to the family room #2. Basic but updated room was a bit concerned over possible road noise but it was fine over night. Very busy road so needed to be carefully pulling in or out of the driveway. Only slight negative was the shower head kept falling down and having to be adjusted continuously through the showering. I forgot to mention it on checkout. Would happily stay again in the future.

Best motel in the area , beautiful room allocations friendly staff . Bathroom an bed absolutely comfortable and relaxing new modifications and improvements are a credit to the owner . Enjoyed my stay Luv the decor and new lighting felt like home Thanks for a great weekend !

We stayed for a few days in the Spa suite nice new modern room very clean and staff were very helpful and nice big communal room and BBQ area facing the big blue pool beautiful beach right across the road looking forward to going back in summer

Great staff, great communication, rooms are renovated with all features you need, love the pressure in the shower. Literally across the road from the beach where we had a great day with the kids. Will definitely come back

Perfect winter get away where you can snuggle up in a newly renovated calm warm room and still rug up and cross the road to walk along a pristine beach. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were tastefully updated and had the fresh, clean and new feeling. A bit of traffic white noise in the morning but not a real concern. Excellent value for money-shhhhh!

I stayed here last night for a single night. The rooms have been tastefully renovated and were nice and clean which is quite important to me. There is still plenty of room for improvement though. There are no bedside lamps so you switch off the light and head towards the bed in the dark. What is more dangerous is getting up in the middle of the night in complete darkness and trying to find the light switch. An easy problem to fix. Not so easy is the absence of any fresh air, unless you open the front window which does two things. Firstly it compromises your security as this leaves just a fly wire screen between you and any potential intruder, and secondly it allows a lot of passing traffic noise to enter the room. More minor things are the absence of any bowls, plates or cutlery which means if you want to make some breakfast, it's off to the supermarket to buy paper plates etc. as I did. There is a toaster so I don't know how they expect you to cut or spread a piece of toast. Finally, advice for the owner. Don't B.S. your customers. When I protested about the $135 price being $20 more than one of the booking companies, he said (and I think this line gets used quite a lot), "I've put you in the Deluxe room as all the others are booked out". At five o'clock this morning, half of all the rooms were empty, and there was nothing "deluxe" about my room. This cost you one star, learn from that!

Very clean and attractive room. Fantastic position close to beach. Excellent and very friendly host. Comfortable beds. Quality amenities. Handy to shops, restaurants and take away food. I will definitely return.
