AmericInn by Wyndham Tofte Near Lake Superior

We were a "walk in" for a room request at 1:30. We secured the room for the night and continued on our day trip to Grand Marais. By the time we returned at 4:00 our room was ready. The room was spacious and clean. There were plenty of pillows on the bed. The breakfast was exceptional with several choices. This was our third time staying at this inn and we've always made the trip by motorcycle. The hot tub was the perfect end to a wonderful day. The weather for late September was perfect. We will return.

As normal, AmericInn was a great place to stay. From a good clean pool/spa area with just right temperature to a perfect deck to watch the sun rise and set. Rooms were clean, comfy bed and hot shower, the staff were nice and breakfast was perfect.

As per usual with AmericInn, our stay has been great. Comfy beds, clean rooms, and all the convenient amenities you'd expect. Pool area was clean and the hot tub was the perfect temperature. Enjoyed a hot breakfast as well, with eggs & bacon!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am very thankful they were able to accommodate us after finding our original reservation at a different hotel was not in their system. This was our anniversary, and the town had no vacancies due to it being pow wow weekend. I am very thankful to the hotel because I have cancer and will not be able to do these types of things in the coming years.

Hands down the best staff I have experienced at in hotel! This place is beautiful and perfectly placed between to big towns but it just feels peaceful in this area. I am thru hiking the SHT and stopped because there was some nasty weather ahead and the staff totally made this zero day the best day ever!

The check in desk person was awesome, breakfast very good, and a decent restaurant located a few blocks away...nice walking path to get there. Good choice to stay at.

Good location for visiting places up and down the North Shore. Good size room. Indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna. An ok breakfast is included but sometimes had to ask staff to refill empty item. Front desk personal could have been more personable and smiled once in a while. Book in advance and not at the last minute or it will cost you.

This hotel is a great stay on the North Shore of MN. The price is right and is just being remodeled.

My husband and I did a quick trip up the shore and since I am a Wyndham Rewards member as well as AARP this was the perfect place to stay. We checked in late evening and out early next morning but our stay was very pleasant. The motel is newly remodeled and so fresh and updated. Beautiful view of Lake Superior, there is a nice deck off the pool area. It has the standard motel breakfast with hot and cold food and beverages
