"A very enjoyable stay ~ after we got there! Our flight into Rome was over an hour late due to unavoidable problems and consequently our rental car by Discover Cars was no longer available so we had to rent on the spot costing us two and a half times what was planned. That was a bad start but once on the road we put in the address on our GPS and about an hour and a half got off at the Todi exit. Somehow we ended up driving (following our GPS) all over the area without any luck. We finally found a 'saint' that called the hotel and they arranged to meet us just outside of Todi promising to send someone to guide us to the property. We finally arrived, got settled, had a wonderful meal and were able to get to sleep. The evening meal was very good but somewhat limited for a vegetarian. Breakfast had an excellent variety of foods. We were very thankful for the staffs willingness to come and 'find' us or we'd never found the hotel. We had expected it to be a little closer to the town of Todi but it all worked out. The property certainly has all the 'old world' charm, and all the staff were most helpful. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and cozy. The drive to Todi was about 10 minutes and having your own transportation would be necessary to stay here. A lovely place and I'd definitely stay again."

"Absolutely idyllic position on a hill just outside Todi. Impeccably friendly service from all the staff. Extremely comfortable bedroom. Very impressive restaurant but just remember that it is not open on a Monday. They recommended the nearby Torre Sangiovanni Albergo which was excellent but take the suggestion that this is walkable with a substantial pinch of salt ! A great place to chill out."

Wir mieten immer ein Auto, so dass wir dort maximale Flexibilität haben. Die Gäste des Castello scheinen in der Regel einen Weg zu finden, um sich während der Woche kennenzulernen, in der Regel über eine Flasche Wein, zusammen zu sitzen und mit Menschen aus der ganzen Welt zu chatten. Das Cairo Café ist eine tolle Bar (Café, Restaurant) neben der Tür des Schlosses. Freundliche Leute im Café, ein schöner Ort, um den Tag mit einem Cappuccino und einer Pasta und das Datum mit einem leckeren Abendessen zu beginnen."

"Lovely hotel for a few days. Staff were great, and Breakfast was excellent . Great location, just outside the walls of Todi. Rooms were clean, and Towels changed every day. It was very warm and humid nights. did not know how to switch on the aircon should gave asked at reception never mind. "
