Dog friendly hotel so expect dogs barking I understand that, bed springs stuck in back even when lying on top of quilt, mold on bathrooms ceilings, dirty nappy’s from previous people, ***** hairs in bath sink and tiles same cloth cleaned toilet first

We stayed here overnight and it was lovely. We stayed in the Manor House deluxe room and wow. The bed was super comfy, and so so so big. we had a coffee machine with all accessories to have a hot drink included. They added a complimentary box of chocolates, 2 x shortbreads biscuits, sparkling and still water and one small bottle of Prosecco. The manor house was lovely as downstairs had communal sitting inside and outside. We didn’t visit the restaurant as we ate out. The bar is lovely and not too overly priced in my opinion. There’s lots of outdoor seating which is lovely on a summers day. Staff were friendly and approachable. We used the pool and spa facilities which were lovely. Pool was great however, not enough loungers around the pool for people to use. Breakfast was delicious, a lot choice, from home made waffles, to deli foods, to hot cooked breakfasts to continental foods. All in all, a very nice stay and I would definitely visit here again.

Stayed there for one night. Nice and large room and very nice hotel surrounding. Good restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast offered many good choices except the coffee which was not great . Golf course available right at the hotel. Overall very nice place to stay in Tewkesbury!

We drove round this place not so long ago & I’ve wanted to stay ever since. Gorgeous, old fashioned & very relaxed hotel & grounds. There’s plenty of little quirks to spot in the grounds even if you aren’t in to golf (which is relaxing to watch btw) outdoor tables with games imprinted, a little hen hotel, a little croquet set.. Although we stayed in the main hotel, we had a little look round the Manor House which was enchanting with its sewing machine, old fashioned radio etc. The hotel itself was beautiful - even more so at this time of year with the many Christmas trees & decorations. The room is quite old fashioned - I know my other 1/2 likes more modern, but I found it charming. We were given a can of water each which was nice, but could have been kept colder in a fridge beforehand. Being diamond members, we got to use the ‘Hub’ with some free food and coffee - although it wasn’t as good as a full on lounge with alcohol, it was still a nice touch & enjoyable. Breakfast was lovely, one of the best at a Hilton, as the Full English was freshly cooked and served rather than the normal buffet style.. you could help yourself to other bits as well. Felt very relaxed there. The pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi all lovely - I managed to squeeze this in before checking out. The only slight criticism would be to let a guest know if an aqua class is on when you want to swim. I managed to get my swim in, but might be useful to some guests. All in all, a beautiful, relaxed stay with friendly staff. I know my mum & dad would love this one!

We previously stayed here about 10 years ago, and the rooms were getting a little rough around the edges then. Fast forward and it’s still the same. The reception area is beautiful, but that’s where it ends. That said, it is priced accordingly, and therefore we can’t really complain. As a Diamond member we got a fabulous upgrade to a room with a balcony. Really quirky shape, and very comfortable, as we have come to expect in Hilton. The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast room allows you to sit outside overlooking the golf course. Breakfast options and service were great. We had a meal in the bar during our stay. We paid top dollar for a couple of steaks and a decent bottle of wine. This was a tad disappointing, the quality of the food and wine didn’t really represent the cost. Also the service was iffy - after sitting for about 10 mins with the servers ignoring us we realised that you had to order and pay at the bar with your table number. Even Weatherspoons has moved away from this model now! We look forward to returning to Tewksbury and Puckrup in the future - but give the place a good dusting and clean the windows please!

We've just returned from a very enjoyable 4 night stay at the Hilton Puckrup Hall, Tewkesbury. Our stay was made very enjoyable and comfortable by the staff. A big thanks to Tchin and Zara at reception, always welcoming and helpful also to Elias and Molly at the restaurant in the evening. Great service. Just a short drive into Tewksbury historic town, the hotel has a golf course, spa, gym and pool with jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms which we used often, and is set in gorgeous leafy green grounds, surrounded by the golf course and countryside. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, and breakfast staff were very helpful. We enjoyed delicious food for dinner at the restaurant that has a lovely, cosy ambience. The location of the hotel is great, easy access to the gorgeous Cotswolds, Wales and the Mavern Hills. But again, it really was the staff that made it, very welcoming, helpful and professional. Make sure you go into the historic Georgian, Puckrup Hall Manor House part of the hotel, a grade II listed building, connected to the reception area, a glass walkway that takes you through to a pretty glass garden room and lounge. Its beautiful, we enjoyed our morning coffee there. We will definitely be back. Management clearly run a tight ship, with a strong focus on professionalism and great hospitality. Checkin was a delight, took a bit longer than usual, as a trainee was being coached, but I did not mind. The coach was kind and encouraging to her trainee colleague, both were chatty, friendly, offered me water and coffee. I was impressed with their “niceness”. Room was bright and spacious, but dated. Needs an update, but everything was spotless, worked and was comfortable. Bar staff in the evening were friendly, and waitress/host at breakfast was just a bundle of morning cheerfulness. The breakfast buffet was fine, good choice and quality. The dated rooms, bring my hotel score a 4, but the staff earn a 6 ! I’d happily stay there again.

We stayed for one night and accepted our DELUXE MANOR HOUSE ROOM, but we would not have accepted this if we were staying for more than one night. The room although spacious was located in probably the worst part of the Manor House with no view and outlook apart from other roofs very close to our room. There was a boiler/aircon/ power unit noise 24/7 from outside the bathroom which could be heard all the time. In view of this the nightly rate was far too high. It was not up to Hilton standards. There are many other rooms in the more modern section which I feel would be essential to stay in if stopping more than one night. The self service breakfast was only 3 star at best.
