During high season, the hotel should give its guests priority access, or extend its opening hours. #8 - For those who go by Uber/taxi, be prepared to pay a good amount, as it is far from the center of Teresópolis, and drivers ask for higher prices than what the app shows. #9 - The hotel requires a credit card block of 500 reais per day (!) of stay, which will be refunded on the day of check-out (which does not mean that your limit will be refunded on that day, so you may have to wait 1 or 2 invoices to get your limit back)."
