My co-worker and I spent 2 nights at the Tazewell Motor Lodge and had a fantastic experience. We were there to attend training at Valor Ridge, and Patrick was more than accomodating. He provided us with directions to various locations, restaurant recommendations, and things to do in the area. Patrick also switched us to a larger room in the back of the lodge for additional comfort and quiet. He did so voluntarily and without raising the nightly rate. He takes exceptional care of his father, who has suffered a stroke, and his dedication to his family made a wonderful impression. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was clean and we simply couldn't have asked for more. If you're staying in the Tazewell/Middleboro/Cumberland area, look no further than the Tazewell Motor Lodge.

This was the creepiest place I’ve ever stayed in. I took pictures. We dared not sit in the stained rickety chairs. There was a gap in the door way that allowed cold air in. Thank the lord it wasn’t cold. There was nothing even slightly redeeming about this place! Uuugggghhhh!!

Excellent service with clean rooms at a reasonable price. The owner was very accommodating. The room was larger than expected and clean to use. It is an ideal place to stay in the Tazewell area, and I would stay there again.

I was over charged for my room. Noisy street in front of motel. Towels were like drying with sandpaper and didn't look like they were sanitized. Beds were old and very uncomfortable. The room was dirty and smelled like mold. Linens were dingy. The clerk was very unfriendly. There were some unsavory looking people staying at the motel when we stayed. I saw a lot of bugs in the room, some I could not identify.

A clean, well-maintained, small old-fashioned motel. Since I travel by motorcycle I really like to park in front of my door which is rare nowadays, unless you decide to stay at a no-tell-motel, which this one isn't. Get a bigger room in the back, they are very quiet. A problem which needs to be addressed is the fact that there is practically no Wi-Fi reception in the back. Bathrooms and rooms are fine, mattresses are good. Recommended.

The owner was very chatty and offered a lot of advice on what to do and see in the area. He also advised me to strictly observe the speed limits on the way to The Cumberland Gap as local law enforcement are hot on this. Room was clean and exactly what I expected, but could do with updating. My room was at the front so there was some road noise. If you are a light sleeper request a room to the rear. I'm not so it didn't bother me. AC worked well. Yes I would definitely stay there again
