Die Unterkunft liegt innerhalb der Stadttore in der schönen Altstadt Taorminas. Der Checkin war einfach möglich per Self-checkin. Unser Zimmer gefiel uns sehr gut. Da gabs nichts zu beanstanden. Der kleine Balkon raus zur Fußgängerzone gefiel uns ebenfalls. Es ist natürlich ziemlich laut und Ohrstöpsel sind nachts vermutlich immer erforderlich. Man parkt am besten im Parkhaus Lumbi. Von dort fährt ein Shuttle kostenlos in die Nähe der Unterkunft. Man kann aber auch super einfach über ein paar Treppen in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß laufen. Aktuell zahlt man da für 24 Stunden 20 Euro mit PKW. In der Hochsaison kostet es mehr. Ich schwanke zwischen 4 und 5 Punkten.

This hotel is a very traditional Italian hotel. If you are looking for a modern contemporary hotel, this is not for you. For us it had everything we needed. The room was kept clean, bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe space, bathroom was dated but kept clean and functional. We had room 37, which had a lovely terrace and outside dining furniture, with amazing views. The only negative I would say about this room is, if you are not an early riser, say 6.30am onwards you may need a different room. The reason being is that the room is directly beneath the restaurant and at that time for about 30mins in the morning the staff are cleaning floors and getting tables ready for breakfast. It didn't bother us. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a main road so walking into the town would be quite difficult along the road from a safety aspect, however if you have no mobility issues, there are steps all the way up to Taormina......which is just amazing by the way. We would not hesitate to return to Taormina and stay at this hotel again.

Location was perfect! Terrace was closed, which was a highlight for our booking. Breakfast was fairly poor, the variety spread was ok, we ordered scrambled eggs or omelettes, they only serve boiled eggs. Room was small, which a shared balcony, which means no privacy whatsoever. Staff was helpful but not at all welcoming. They didn’t even ask how was our stay at check-out. But instead only handed us the city tax bill to pay. There were no batteries for the safe box, which means it was not working. But the Location makes u forget all the above…

This is a beautiful & pretty little hotel with clean comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We were a group of 4 staying for 5 nights from 3rd July in 2 adjacent rooms, with sea views. One room was slightly larger than the other and had tea & coffee making facilities, plus a bigger bathroom. The views from the balconies were wonderful - how lovely it was to watch the sun rising over the sea in the mornings. Breakfast was eaten upstairs in the part open breakfast room with similar views to our bedrooms. There was an amazing buffet style choice of both hot and cold food, which was replenished quickly by the lovely kitchen staff who were on hand cooking. All food seemed to be home made and there was a vast array of both savoury and sweet. Drinks were brought to your table by a really friendly lady with a great sense of humour. There was also a lovely terrace with a bar for you to sit out on during the day and evening, although we were out and about so much that we didn’t get a chance to use it as there is so much to see and do in and around Taormina. The hotel is perfectly situated only a short walk to Corso Umberto, the restaurants and the sights of beautiful Taormina. It’s also very near to a well stocked mini market. All four of us had the most wonderful 5 nights stay in this beautiful hotel, and didn’t want to leave it. Thank you to all the staff. I hope we’ll be back one day.

This hotel is in a wonderful location we had a balcony which was great. The front desk staff especially Luigi was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. The staff in the breakfast area was wonderful as well good breakfast. One thing Not so good with the beds and pillows and beds are very hard and flat pillows. Had a great time. You can walk to the gondolas that go down to the beach great beach but there are hundreds of stairs you have to walk up and down bring good walking shoes.
