Premier Inn Tamworth Central Hotel

宿泊に困らない程度の広さでした。市内から少し遠いのとエレベーターがないことだけでした。ヘアドライヤーもあり、Wi-Fiも無料で使えました。

Hotel is situated in a perfect location, close to drayton manor, lots of retail shops over the road. Our room was spacious and very clean. Check in was friendly and all the staff we came across were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good value with the kids eating free.

Great weekend stay with friends, all the staff were really friendly and polite. Our room was clean and comfortable and we all gad an excellent nights sleep. Unfortunately wasn't able to book a table for dinner due to it being extremely busy but that wasn't an issue.

Stayed at the Premier inn Tamworth for a wedding. Check in was smooth and stress free and the receptionists very polite. Rooms are what you would expect from the brand. Both mornings we had the pleasure of speaking to the lovely Suzanna who was very friendly.

The bed was very comfortable and good walking distance to shops and town centre , and great clubs and bars near by and not far from Drayton manor park and next door to the premier Inn got beefeater what does really nice food and a early check in cost only £ 10 pounds

Stayed here before. Staff very good. Hotel is showing signs of needing some TLC spent on it. My room was next to a fire door that constantly banged shut during the night. Room was basic and acceptable but not good value for £91 a night without breakfast included. Ample free parking but be sure to enter you car details at reception. No air con at this hotel. Might look for another hotel when in this area next time

My stay on 16 Sep 24 was marred by a fire alarm related prolonged (perhaps hour-long) evacuation of the hotel, just after I had gone to bed, for a reason which was not then explained (no fire applicances appeared to be in attendance) and the folowing night the fire door adjacent to my room repeatedly slammed for the last 2-3 cm of its closure, delaying sleep until the last of the guests passed my room around midnight. This appears likely to be a failure of the closure device, and might have been avoided by regular simple local testing every week. Glasses were visible (during the fire alarm) on outdoor tables from earlier in the evening, and had not been cleared despite the Beefeater Restauarant having closed, and a live mouse was visible at breakfast time at 7AM in the same area, though this may be a coincidence. An additional bed in my room, of child’s size, had an uncovered mattress: this loooked odd. I would tend to agree with a previous reviewer that the service was far from Premier, and indeed rather poor. Good points related to the staff at the affiliated Beefeater Restaurant who were very helpful in manner - both waiting staff and the Breakfast chef, though there was a failure to apply the 25% discount code which I believe I presented on ordering. I was left with the sense that the underlying problem may well primarily be one of managerial and training origin, rather than being caused by difficulty in recruiting staff. Simple measures, of little cost, such as more regularly inspecting door mechanisms, covering beds with a. bedspead if not to be used, clearing outdoor glasses at closing time, and training the night duty worker regarding management of fire alarms would have made all the difference, and the failure to do so will cause me to avoid this Hotel in future, but not the wider hotel chain who offer good quality beds and bed-clothing - both of which were good.

Overall our stay here was satisfactory, the bed was comfy and the room was clean. It's fine for a couple of nights, but the staff social skills could be improved. The reception staff did not even greet us on arrival and were chatting amongst themselves so we had to wait until they finished talking about non work things. This wasn't long, however, they then made us pay £10 for being 30 minutes early. They had no compassion about this when we kindly explained our frustrations about paying since we were only a little early! I get they might not be able to do much, but it seemed they got some enjoyment out of making us pay extra! They could have at least shown some compassion even if there was nothing they could do. They did book us breakfast time which was useful.
