The Coast Beachfront Hotel

This is a great beach front hotel in Tamarindo! It is just far enough from downtown Tamarindo to avoid the large crowds while still being within a comfortable walking distance. The staff was extremely professional and helpful throughout our stay. At one point we were lucky enough to see some monkeys on the hotel's beach property thanks to a staff member pointing them out to us! A continental breakfast is included and brought to just outside your room every morning. Our room and the whole hotel grounds including pool and beachfront were well maintained and kept clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I just got back from staying a week in one of the beachfront bungalows and it was absolutely gorgeous and super romantic! After staying here, we won’t want to stay anywhere else in Tamarindo. Windows everywhere so we could always enjoy views of the beautiful beach but you can lower the shades anytime privacy was needed. The beach was literally steps away from our front door! The grounds are beautiful and the ground keepers were always working to keep it on point. The layout and location of the bungalow were perfect and we enjoyed the convenience of having a fully functional kitchen. A little grocery store was within walking distance making it easy to get whatever we needed. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly! We arrived several hours before check in so we changed into our swim suits and they stored our bags for us so we could enjoy the pool and beach right away. The location of The Coast is perfect! It’s far enough away from the main part of town so it’s quiet and relaxing yet close enough to walk everywhere. No car or cart rental needed! Enjoy a walk along the beach to get to town or walk along the street. There are plenty of sidewalks and always felt safe! A short walk the other direction takes you to Langosta with plenty of beach access points from the road! I just can’t say enough wonderful things about staying at The Coast. We can’t wait to go back for sure!

Gorgeous setting, fantastic rooms, perfect location, excellent service. Spent 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Great proximity to restaurants and shopping but also felt secluded and private. Simple breakfast delivered daily and kitchen in room for making food if interested. Highly recommend!

The view was amazing and the experience of having your breakfast brought to your room and eating on the patio with the ocean view was incredible. Courteous and helpful staff. Incredible ocean views with beautiful sunsets. Comfortable beds with lots of fluffy pillows.

I found this hotel online. It had great reviews with key notes: " by the beach" "away from the noise" "great rooms and staff" Checked out what was available and decided to book. My sister and I stayed 8 nights We arrived at 10:30 p.m. a security guard was waiting to check us in, including filling out the breakfast sheet for following morning. We loved that it was walking distance to town. Ask them about tours. Ask them how to get somewhere. Oh, get a beachside massage. $40 for 1 hour. So good. Staff is so welcoming. They are all so helpful. Our junior suite was nice, clean, and love the small kitchen. I loved this place. Will I stay again? Definitely

This is our 14th year staying here. We started when it was Casa Cook. After the sale, the new owners have made many improvements. We stayed from 9/14-28/2024. The front staff were all amazing. We enjoyed sharing sweets from Pandeli with them. I appreciate them telling us about the 10% discount for Coast residents. One thing I wish didn't exist for people, there is a charge for the surfboards/boogy boards. It would be a nice benefit if it was a checkout system like in the library. This benefit could be part of the advertising for the hotel. The other is, we have friends that like to come over in the evening to play cards and Mexican Train. However they can't play with us because of policy.

Friendly staff. Clean, well-maintained property. We especially loved starting each day with a leisurely breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beach and ocean. Having breakfast brought to the room was wonderful. Complimentary use of boogie boards was a nice touch. We wished there was an on-site bar/cafe and that the kayak rental was better organized. They had to borrow paddles and life jackets from a neighboring property.

Great boutique beachfront hotel with great view of the ocean and walking distance to town and Langosta beach. Very clean and the staff is friendly. I recommend for families or anyone who wants a quiet place to stay away from the busy town and parties.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with a warm embrace. Pura Vita. We will bring the kids next time. Best spot in all of Tamarindo. Easy walk into town, right on the beach, and beautiful amenities. Perfect time to spend with the most important people in your life.
