This cute little place holds its punch in the staff. The owner welcomed us so nicely and we were then greeted by the groundskeeper, Ian, who I absolutely adore. We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding, with friends of our staying in the room next door to ours. It was all we needed for the night and was a great FRIENDLY experience.

Our first impression as we arrived, was how pretty the property was with multiple flower boxes along the row of rooms. Very inviting. Before we arrived, the hydro had gone out due to a tornado going through the area. Rippen gave us a room key and we went for dinner. Still no hydro when we returned. We used our flashlights and went to bed. Fortunately, we could open two windows and get a nice breeze going through. The room was very clean and attractive. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were luxurious - much better than a standard motel. The next morning, Rippen was trying to figure out how to use her truck to run the hydro. She was not able to serve us coffee or a muffin. Rippen had called all her customers for the following day to give them a heads-up. I thought this was very professional of her. This was obviously not a typical stay, and not Rippen's fault at all. We would definitely come back!

When we came there was no one in the office and it was locked. After calling the 2 numbers on the door and getting no response, we did panick a bit. After about 2-3 minutes we did then get a call back and the woman showed up very shortly after. The rooms are a little dated, I found the beds hard, but hubby was fine with it. The bathroom was very clean and so was the room. Nice and quiet too. Would come back.
